I was pretty satisfied with my first time selling at Calgary. Brought about 40 GA slabs and sold half of them as well as half my raw wall books, many to members here. Was hoping to sell more of my filler books in the 5-30 range but still acceptable. Left a deposit for next year but would like a better spot for sure, my aisle seemed narrow and got overly congested. Had a few guys tell me they wish they found me sooner so not sure if I was hidden away too much Got some great Marvelmania books from humantorch and artboy99 and a few cool posters.

1232 but won’t be bringing the wall books until tomorrow. I’m by myself today so don’t want to leave them all lonesome like if I’m walking about

Only 2 weeks til I hit the #1 with a van full of comics, proudly wearing my Jets jersey (only Canadian team in the playoffs) Can’t wait! I have the usual suspects of Bronze Age keys n such but also picked up some nice golden age which I rarely have a chance to sell. The guy I got them from has hundreds of choice stuff I’m hoping to score or at least sell on commission

I was joking about the married pages and colour touch, a jab at PGX. It was actually graded fairly as a 4.0 - def an eBay 6.0 -

Free at last. It was a PGX 4.0 so it had massive colour touch, married pages and 2 missing wraps. Solid 4.0 -

Round two from the elderly gentleman who asked if I wanted to but some golden age about a month ago. After a few meetings he’s warming up to the idea of me selling his stuff on commission. I bought these today, debating whether to crack the Planet 48 -
Canadian Planet Comics
Quicksilver Signs replied to Quicksilver Signs's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
Interesting. So an issue 3 and 4 should be valued as US 63 and 64? -
I have the chance to buy about 10 CDN Planet comics Issues 3,4, and the rest in the 50’s Question: are the contents the same as US and are they generally worth less than their US counterparts?

On the average collector scale those are some big time collector books you have.
