  1. I thought of little Franky, but there are probably over 1000 super heroes, not sure if there's an actual head count. Who else had children (in a non-alternate reality story)
  2. I was going to say Milf but for some reason, super heroes don't have children. With great power comes no reproductivity.
  3. Is GPA an affiliate of CGC? Just wondering as it would be useful to see sales results of the not-to-be-named slabs.
  4. I know it's obvious with before and after pics but would CGC be able to spot spine realignment as a pressing defect? A lot of silver books have bad wraps and are trimmed poorly in production.
  5. Not trying to turn it into a debate just saying the 2 examples of the Avengers 1 and JIM book are frowned upon as bad pressings but both were assessed favourably by the agreed upon experts at CGC
  6. Some of the examples shown most would consider successful press jobs since the grades improved so dramatically. Seems most people who want slabbed books only care about the number at the top of the case. I'm more of a raw guy and have nothing against pressing but if you're selling and can get a tasty bump, why not?
  7. I regularly install UV film on businesses and home windows generally with a tint but there is clear UV film. I would say it's a must for these types of frames
  8. Do collectors delegitimize Atlas's 1950's appearances of Captain America since it was determined to be an imposter in the 70's CA 154 story arc? At the time it was written as Cap stories Commie Smasher until Marvel decided to squeeze it into their present universe. On a somewhat related note I don't think Strange Tales 114 gets the cred it deserves - 1st silver Cap and a cooler cover
  9. If they're stacked evenly and bagged and boarded it's fine IMO. Worked for the church collection! Also if you're not moving them around and are careful, what's the harm. I also have a lot of books in boxes for space sake. As well as a couple nifty file drawers (with impressive soft-close feature) a local cabineteer made me.
  10. Some of the highlights of a longbox of stuff I picked up from a buddy in a Kijiji deal. There was a Captain Marvel 1 and some decent 12cent Spideys
  11. A few years ago my father-in-law made this cupboard for my daughter, I contributed the signage. She's outgrown it so I put it in my office and filled it with comics. This Tardis will take you back in time to the silver and Bronze Age!
  12. For sure, Metis is just a Canadian thing anyway
  13. I'd go with 2, maybe change the colors, don't mind the exclamation mark. If it's just an ebay thing I wouldn't spend too much time on it, shouldn't make a difference sales-wise.
  14. Bronze keys like every one still show up frequently - even if they're beater keys it's easy to move. I've found 3 Hulk 181's in random collections in the past few years and I'm not as obsessed about it as I was 10 years ago. There are a ton of good sellers in the 80's era too - DK, Infinity stuff, Crisis, Killing Joke, yada yadda - even more common than bronze
  15. Bronze keys are pretty common still and show up pretty frequently in the wild.
  16. Because you could be passing on early Walking Dead, TMNT early issues, Harley-Deadpool stuff
