  1. Seems like it. Anyway, fyi peoples, I received my Boba Fett sig graded book (9.8) from John Tyler Christopher today. Sent to me Priority Mail. His sig is hmlol

Yea, someone mentioned they got his sig at the con where they released the other Bobas and they did not have a good experience.

    Show us a scan/pic.

The sig is next to Boba's leg. meh

  3. Might not be a bad thing to bring up though. Let the buyer know that since someone signed for it and it wasn't him you will be contacting the authorities. Possible it might work.

Can you get a picture of the signature from the post office?

Post office info says signed by H.H. but buyer initials are S.M. Saw a picture of sig and it doesn't look like anything to me at all. Impossible to make out any initials. Looks like chicken scratch. But the signer did put down the address number and street name that is clear.

This person bought an expensive book. I mailed it priority, insured and with sig confirmation the day payment was received. Messaged him after book was sent and when it would arrive. . Tracking shows book was signed for and delivered. He now claims he didn't receive the book and requested a refund or a replacement book.

So what happens next? I would hope with someone signing you are protected.

Turn this one over to eBay. Explain that it was delivered and signed for. Ebay (the dolts that they are) will probably refund the guy but it shouldn't come out of your pocket. And don't send this d-bag anything else.

Already did my explanation as a result of buyer has now opened a case.

Will update with more info as things play out.

  5. I'd like to see that as well. :o

I finally found a raw high grade copy of the book for a decent price to add to my PC, from a book store no less that has a comic section. The price is in CDN $.

Pic doesn't do it justice, hoping for that 9.8 when I get around to submitting.

:o You got a copy like that from a book store? Amazing. Does it have the typical slice on the bottom edge of the back?

It does but barely there. Only slightly on the red nothin on the orange/tan side

Is that a dent / stress on front cover near spiderman's knee on the spine? That's a great find.

  7. I saw this press release and assumed, I found no confirmation of his attendance or cancellation.

That must have sucked for fsc to announce his cancellation

As for the other part, it's your money and your book. If you want it signed, don't let some internet troll stop you.

I don't recall fsc ever announcing a Romita Sr.cancellation. He was suddenly nowhere to be found on their web page.

  8.

Is the market that strong for books like this?

Personally I'd rather pay a great deal less and know I have the entire book. I know some like the oddities but didn't think it spanned out to page missing books.

Spend the money on multiple 9.8 copies or a single 9.9 (thumbs u
