I'm not a Superman fan but this book is cool. Congrats on the sig from ZOD.

  2. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section of the forum. Can anyone identify who signed this book? Thanks for your help. (thumbs u

  3.

Do you remember what you paid for it back then? hm

Wow good question....I don't but I can tell you it wasn't much, probably no more than $5-10 since I was a broke high school kid and spent all my $$ on new comics..now that I think about it as I type I do remember it was hanging on the wall of the comic store so I didn't get it from a bin so I paid a "high end" price.....

If you plan on grading it, I would have the book pressed 1st. Just my 2c

  4. My copy. It is beautiful in hand. Inks are absolutely dripping. Looks fresh off the presses.

Love how dark the cover is. Do you plan on grading it? Looks 9.6/9.8. What would you grade it as?

    9.8 (thumbs u

Agreed, hopefully back cover is as nice as the front along with interior of the book. Absolutely stunning book.

For those of us that want Al Milgrom to sign their book, he is scheduled to be at Florida Super Con around July 4th 2014

  5. I accidentally posted this in the Modern forums but it seems more appropriate here -

What's going on with ASM 202 CGC 9.8? It just sold for over $1100 last night! Seems really, really high.

Not a key, no first appearances...I don't get it either (shrug)

That's crazy. Just 2 collectors bidding and fighting over the book. Was it a real sale? If so, they paid stupid money for a book like that. 15 in 9.8 blue label out of 243 submitted. About 4% in 9.8 doh!
