Some time ago, I bought drawing supplies with the intent of resuming another old hobby, doodling. I never got around to it, but with the help of two epidural steroid injections and a week at the home by myself to recover, I finally got around to it. I've mainly been tracing so that I can learn the proper shapes and contours of lines, so that's mostly what you see below. Turns out, drawing is a great creative break in my work day. Expand spoilers for content. This is a partial trace of an Unusual Tales sent to me by @mustang33guy along with a comic I bought from him. America! (And Egypt). America in Space! This one is my only original doodle here. Still very flat, but I'm working on it. This is my super team! Blo-Pop has a big head, hence the name, and he has an explosive temper to match. Skedaddle is a hipster with a hint of hip hop--don't soil his Gucci cap! He's known for his signature, mildly murmured phrase, "Well, I guess I'mma skedaddle on out of here." Then there's .... Miss Chief is an Ifrit (inspired by a work project). Then there's Wafer Man. He would very much like to offer you a crisp. My son drew a Doc Ock type at the top (he's pretty wrapped up with Miles Morales Spider-Man right now).
