  2. well I guess I can look at the bright side, I see deals on an nice FF 1 in the future and I need one for my set.
  3. The fat PS3 was poorly designed. I cooked two and finally threw in the towel and settled for a slim. (The Triple beep shut down is like a PC's blue screen of death). With all that equipment in such a small place they needed more fans. So now I have no backwards compatibility. Now I got to go dig up my PS2 and PS1 in the attic if I want to play them again. Assuming I kept them... Oh yeah for those that don't know, GTA V was built to fry those fat PS3's so be warned and if you get the 3 beep death call shoot me a pm, I know a work around to get the system up temporarily to get your info off of it.

  5. With that said - has anyone played "Scooby Doo night of 100 frights (PS2)" it's a cool game for fans of the early 60's show. The video graphics are a little blocky (even for PS2) but that didn't stop me from enjoying it. This is a side to side scroller which is great for kids to get introduced to video games. The skill level is oddly enough multi-level. The beginning and most of the game is easy enough for a toddler to play it (skill level 2 out of 10), but there are odd places in this game where the programers kicked it up a notch (skill level 8 out of 10) but those places are deep into the game. I was really amazed at how deep this game is and almost every old school SB villain is in this game. I'd give this game about a solid 7 out of 10 and is a lot of fun for a scroller.
  6. I wonder if they'll have an aftermarket adapter for this. I find this is so dumb. One of the things that kept me as a PS player is the fact that I can play a PS1, 2 and 3 all on the same system. for PIP: I'd say get an early PS3 that converts down and go hog wild. There are thousands of games for PS1, 2 and 3 to play and you can get them very cheap now. Just last night my boy played Scooby Doo night of 100 frights (PS2) and once I put him to bed I plugged in the new GTA V.
  7. I wonder what the first "English" appearance is???
  8. Here's a quick pen sketch I did for a friend that likes GG.
  9. It's the real Octopussy! (Roger Moore would be proud) No seriously, nice work!
  10. Love the Godzilla. I still got mine, but I lost the hand and his fire doesn't work... but it's o.k. I loved it growing up!
  11. Chris was awesome to deal with and shipped bomb proof dubba boxed what more could you ask for???
  12. This guy belongs on Road House because he's a Double Doosh!
  13. If only it weren't so temporary. There isn't much eBay can do about this--shut one down, scammer refines his technique and does it again. They ban the account, scammer creates another. The ultimate solution will be true identity verification of individuals across the Internet so that people can't act anonymously behind multiple throwaway user accounts, but that's a bit away, probably at least a decade or two. I'm not quite sure what the holdup is, but I'm curious about it. I know fingerprint scanners are pretty reliable and cheap now. Might be a political issue at this point. I think one of the Einstein's at ebay spotted the Bleeding Cool article and thought "maybe this is a scam after all".
  14. Thanks for the help guys. I think from here on out I'm going to put a watermark on all of my photos... take a hike dirtbag!
  15. asshattery has taken a new level I see.
  16. What was the evidence? All I can really say is when people think they have plenty of evidence, when I've reviewed it, the great majority of the time, they're wrong. That doesn't mean I think you were wrong, just that typically people don't have enough evidence, yet they think they do. does anyone know how to send a pic to ebay as proof?
