Swamp thing has most likely absorbed lots of kryptonite thru the soil-we all know that stuff bombards earth constantly-hell I cant count the number of times stupidman was just flying and a kryptonite meteor whizzed past him thats how common it is. It seems most of Krypton eventually landed on earth. So, swanp thing would demolish stupidman. However there is the fact that no matter how much or how long stupidman is exposed to kryptonite it never kills him. One story he was in a box with kryptonite for a week and didnt die. Another story stupidboy lay on a mountain of kryptonite and was fine and dandy. I submit kryptonite cannot kill a kryptonian it just makes em sick.

My buddy eddie who has the large comic novelty collection bought this for me-I told him I always wanted the lucky skull ring so he found a company that used the original johnson smith ring to make a mold to recreate the ring. the picture shows the sterling silver ring without the red gemstones they put in and which I am recieving.

exactly. Guys like steranko and Smith still studied classical art and in steranko's case pop and op art. The newer guys only study comics. And only modern comics. Its so 2 dimensional lazy and boring.

You can see the kirby influence in steranko and berry smith but their work is also starkly different and original. Many of the newer comic artists I cant even tell the difference bewteen them. It's just a clone style that makes me gag.

many many untalented hacks got in. It is utterly infuriating. A good percentage of the modern comic artists all draw basically the same. This also infuriates me. Comic artists that learn to draw from other comic artists. No formal art study whatsoever.

Not only that but there is always way more new talent than you could possibly hire.

I've seen videos of Kneel Atoms drawing and he draws very slow-amazing that he was so perductive. I can draw circles around the guy, speaking only volumetrically.

I have to agree. for years he worked without any agreement to get his pages back. He agreed to that. Suddenly the value explodes and he wanted it all back. Nope. Between 'stolen' and 'destroyed' I have to choose stolen as the better option.

what was the feeling about OA back then? wasn it considered worthless and disposable? Did the artists even want it?

I seriously need to go through my collection. I'm not sure even what I have anymore. I just found out that Batman 251 is worth a ton. This is a book I would have given away to kids a few years ago.
