Alas, comics are relatively illiquid and the bid/ask spread can be pretty huge. Mind, I think the internet has helped increase liquidity and reduce the bid/ask spread since there's now a much larger pool of buyers and sellers one is able to reach. Right, and yet divad still gets top dollar.

Great book that should have has had a price bump for awhile. Fixed. It's not a cheap book and hasn't been for years, although the ignorance of people like ygogolak and Bob Overstreet does enable others to occasionally find extremely underpriced copies.

Where can I pre order? I do not know about the Venom, but that cover is going to go up if limited, as it's been happening more and more lately. DCBS And the books will be under $200 in other places............. just have to look Thanks... and true! Judging by other of their ridiculous prices, that cover might be half the price... still not cheap, but that's a start. I'll keep tracking and see if I can find it somewhere else for a better offer. Dcbs is $200, Frankie's is $269, Midtown doesn't have it listed. Any suggestions? Don't buy it.

Right, but you're getting into unknown territory by asking questions that may vary from person to person. As we know, a supply of over 200k is still not meeting the demand for value decrease with Deadpool. 200k of any book you should be able to find it for $5 or less, in my book. Some may consider a book important solely because of a cover. The MJ Venom cover has a lot going for it honestly. Why is it important, First Gweonm? Hard to find? People like the art? Too many factors to say for certain. Only factor that matters is supply < demand. Rarity vs. importance varies by personal perception. Take for instance the new "ultra rare" store variant of 1,000 copies. How is that rare when Black Mask is producing only 25 of some books? 1. It's not rare. 2. It's rare for a Marvel book. 3. It's rare as in hard to find because people don't sell them.
