The lack of any background or foreground is definitely what makes those books valuable. fwiw JSC has been on record saying that he really doesnt like drawing background or doenst go into that deail. I remember reading it in his time exposure hard cover. That's a shame. He's gotten to a point where he simply doesn't have to because he will get paid either way. Not knocking him for getting to that point in his career, but it makes me think differently as it seems more about the money than art. He was not bad at full frames at all. In fact, some of his best work was on his ASM regular covers, IMO:

    The minimum I've seen for store and convention exclusives is 500. For their own variants (ratio, or otherwise ) they can print as few as they want, but realistically they wouldn't print less than a case pack (up to 250 copies). -J. 500 if there is another 3k ordered. The new ratio you are seeing is 3k color, 1.5 sketch, 500 other. You can't just order 500.

    They went from $150 to $40 in three days. Why do you think these are going to go up in value when they are trending down? There's heavy supply right now. If demand is heavier than supply, the value will go up over time. Who knows. Maybe. I like Turtles. This. It went from crazy rare to rare but once the flood subsides people want water again.
