  1. Spawn #1 newsstand goes for about 5x direct and comes up fairly often.
  2. Right, but you're getting into unknown territory by asking questions that may vary from person to person. As we know, a supply of over 200k is still not meeting the demand for value decrease with Deadpool. 200k of any book you should be able to find it for $5 or less, in my book. Some may consider a book important solely because of a cover. The MJ Venom cover has a lot going for it honestly. Why is it important, First Gweonm? Hard to find? People like the art? Too many factors to say for certain. Only factor that matters is supply < demand. Rarity vs. importance varies by personal perception. Take for instance the new "ultra rare" store variant of 1,000 copies. How is that rare when Black Mask is producing only 25 of some books? 1. It's not rare. 2. It's rare for a Marvel book. 3. It's rare as in hard to find because people don't sell them.
  3. . Do you like anything? Ever? This cover is not good. I was expecting more. Lethal Protector #1 is an iconic cover, so Bagley has it in him. Head over to the Dell Otto thread to see some great work, which I already chimed in on.
  4. Only one things matters, supply vs. demand.
  5. I think you know that rarity does not mean anything in terms of value.
  6. Ok, let's get technical on it then... Both should be "Driver" because they both drive a vehicle...to "ride" is to not control what you're on. Also, neither are "ghosts"...the are possessed or cursed or demons, but not ghosts. So if we're getting technical, really they should be "Cursed Driver" or "Possessed Driver" or maybe "Demon Driver".....none of which are great so let's just stick with Ghost Rider. But he started on a horse...which you ride.

  8. The Ghost Rider is better than the Venom, IMO.

  10. What about the silver comics heating up on ebay thread? Why in the world would you want to do that, as it would just make too much sense? After all, I hope you do remember this is the CGC boards here. Yea, everything was perfectly unorganized before you came along.
  11. APR = inflation? Okie dokie APR of 9% is pretty close though actually. Comes out to about 8.5%.
  12. I'm seeing it was a 1:10 and distribution was around 15K +. We know how TF fans can be though and these are probably sitting in a lot of collections.
  13. Currently they have 0 CGC's on their eBay. Damages occur in shipping to them as well. It's smart not sell everything up front as there is a good chance some will arrive to them damaged.
  14. Question, where? Here's the link: http://www.bulletproofcomix.com/ JL vs SS Ultra Rare variant "limited to 1,000", "ultra rare", $80 No thanks.
  15. Another Silver getting the big screen treatment love: Strange Tales #126
  16. From the latest newsletter and for those of us talking about the Mile High II collection and what remains back here: http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=9588286&fpart=15 Thirty-one years ago I purchased the legendary Mile High II collection of 1,800,000 Silver Age and Bronze Age comics. Three decades later, I am down to my last few comics from that awesome collection, but not quite entirely out. Obviously this is his word saying this. Also. ASM #102 is the first appearance of Morbius now. Boy, wouldn't want to be holding any of those 101's once the label change hits! To be specific, I have a few copies left of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (1963) #102 in Good condition, featuring the first appearance of Morbius.
  17. Everyone except Image of course. They don't do that: By the same token, if you are a publisher trying to force your comics into the marketplace with exclusive variants retailers can only order by irresponsibly increasing their orders: Stop. https://imagecomics.com/content/view/i-want-all-of-us-to-thrive-and-to-succeed-eric-stephensons-2016-comicspro-s Oh...wait: REBORN #1 STORY:MARK MILLAR ART / COVER A: GREG CAPULLO COVER B:GREG CAPULLO SKETCH VARIANT (1 OF 6-PART POSTER, 1 : 100) COVER C:JOCK COVER D:FRANK CHO COVER E:JOHN CASSADAY COVER F:BLANK COVER COVER G:TODD MCFARLANE RETAILER VARIANT (1 : 25)
  18. I'm just saying you would be getting them the same way he does, just cutting out the middleman and saving a few bucks in doing so.
