  1. True, I heard there is a Sandman movie coming so this should see an uptick any day:
  2. No, but tell me when you're ready to talk Beanie Babies.
  3. Demon had an price jump last year when it was announced that Del Torro was writing the -script for Justice League Dark. It stayed fairly consistent until he turned the -script in for review at the end of Nov. 2014. It started to go back down earlier this year. The beginning of this month they announced a producer was on board and he was looking for a director, hence another uptick. Unfortunately, or fortunately, this is how the market works.....for now. No, surprised to see you post one that isn't though.
  4. $48 for the Kung-Fun. Not really that close to asking. $44 for Demon in VF is a good sell, I think.
  5. Avengers 83 isn't the first appearance of a character, just the first published depiction of a character's likeness - as portrayed by an impostor. You might as well just go full Ween. You never go FULL Ween. Just the tip is enough.
  6. $3 / book. Could work out. Especially since the ad states that there are Hawk & Dove and Blackhawk sets. I wonder what the condition of the Tomb 10 is?
  7. I think you mean New Mutants 25 I don't think so, or at least cgc has the full appearance as 26. First appearance 25, first full and first cover 26 Imagine if people actually opened the books to see for themselves what the "appearance" was. This one would be close and shut. I've always gone by #25, but whatever you have the most copies of is fine with me. I've never heard or seen anyone refer to 25 as being (more) significant. This is the same situation as Wolverine, so if we keep it consistent, then issue 26 should be the book to get. I have already put up my copies for sale and so far a majority of the folks are hitting me up on issue 25. That's what the wikia for him says is his first appearance. That's what most people go by I think. Wolverine's first is listed as 180 on his wikia....so...the market
  8. I knew it was a bogus story. Den Of Geek must need some click-bait $$$. Maybe they're the next Movie Pilot?
  9. I've always gone by #25, but whatever you have the most copies of is fine with me. Not sure what this has to do with how many copies I personally own. I have always bought them as sets of 25 & 26.
  10. This rumor pops up every few years. I'll believe it when it happens. Why are you having such a hard time believing it.....oh, right OFFICIAL: Fantastic Four Film Rights Remain At Fox
  11. Bombshells #3 Variant Uncanny Avengers #1 Campbell 1:50 Variant Why bombshells? Because I took more phone calls about those 2 books today, and both were sold out locally within minutes of opening. And if you look at current offerings on auctions: Uncanny Avengers #1 Campbell Variant and the sold listings Uncanny Avengers #1 Campbell Variant SOLD listings And the Bombshells #3 Variant sold a few today: Bombshells Variant What exactly is going on on the Bombshells variant? I have a feeling that might be why it's selling. Is it mostly pubescent males asking for it?

  13. Yea, we know. BUYBUYBUY you should have these already.......... Based on how quickly his last Ennis adaptation is moving, I would expect Boys to be ready in 2030. Market will have dropped by then. I'll wait.
  14. Very much a sleeper book. I was surprised he wasn't mentioned for the Justice League Dark movie. He was pretty integral to the first arc of the New 52 JLD series, which is their first named appearance.
  15. Because this is a thread about comics heating up and that comic is heating up and there is the reasoning for it. We're not debating the merits of options. That's best left to he Moderns section anyways.
  16. Very short. The UPC numerical system was not designed to handle 162 different variants for one issue, equate it computer systems not being able to hand the year 2000 rollover.
  17. Did I read the UPC code right? That is cover 24 of issue 1. That is CRAZY! Ah, no, that's not the correct interpretation. The last number states the printing. The second to last states the different cover number.
  18. They can ask as much as they want. Why stop at $250, why not $1,000?
  19. Or just to accelerate the crash of the market? I guess you're not familiar as to how a website can actually make you money, much this this very forum. I don’t know what you mean, but surely these things are not good for the market, or for ANY market, in the long term. Websites make money by selling advertising. Similar to all of those sports "handicappers". If they are so good why wouldn't they just bet their own money in large sums on their picks?
