  1. Have their been any non-incentive covers that have really done much value wise? Also, this isn't a key for Singularity. Also, they are tons of Hughes covers that don't sell for more than $1-2, same as Campbell. They really have a lot of work out now.
  2. So you're guessing at about $7,000+ for all three. I would say $2k or 20% high is a pretty big jump.
  3. That seller has some balls..... What do you mean? Because of his asking price ? Yes I was going to jump on it, until I saw that 9.2.
  4. A few dealers were pumping Avengers #223 in the 2015-2016 Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide because of the Taskmaster connection. I guess I got that information mixed up with the movie art being released. No copies have sold in the last 24 hours so it appears the demand for this book didn't make it through the weekend. It's a great cover and not as easy to find in high grade due to the white. Was there any commenting about Marvel Team-Up #103? 3rd Taskmaster, 2nd full appearance and cover, add Ant Man (and Spidey) to boot. Another great cover.
  5. Anyone know the print run of the 2nd printing? Distribution was 4,099.
  6. It was due to Civil War movie art being released that resembles the cover.
  7. The Spider-Man variants that have climbed considerably have been both rare and have covers which are unique and interest people. These on the other hand, eh... I will say however, I am not hording them, but if I see a nice high grade of any print for about $3 I will pick it up.
  8. Dealer? No. Flipper? Yes, why else would you care about value? I sell which is why I asked for opinions on value. Anyone who thinks this book hasn't peaked I asked them why. Nobody gave a good reason. Same boat. So back to my original question, why would someone who isn't in the market to sell care what the value is?
  9. It jumped two years ago. Why does it matter who owns the rights now? Might want to check 194 though. With rights reverting back to Marvel I would think there's a greater chance a popular character will be used in a film or show or at least a much larger chance than say if the property stayed with Fox. I mention 195 because that is generally considered to be his first appearance as far as the market is concerned. If he appears in 194 then I'm with you. I understand that, but at this point I would think that would be way down the line as they already have most of the plots through 2020. Who knows, maybe they worked him into a story line assuming they would get the rights back. Also, I could only see him in a movie because his head is a skull, unless they went with the more contemporary look where he has a mask like Crossbones. The only TV show I could see him in at this point would be SHIELD. He doesn't fit in any of the Netflix shows. Would have been great for Civil War though. Sorry, got my issues mixed up. 195 is the cameo and more affordable, 196 is the cover and first full. 196 jumped a couple years back from a $40 book to $100 or more in NM.

  12. Tell me about it. Some people find great stuff. Mine are stocked with 90s Image and Valiant. What are you saying about 90s Image and Valiant!? That's some of the best stuff ever published! Good thing there is plenty for everyone!

  14. I agree... Modern collectors could not care less if George Perez is the Original Hellcat artist. They just want to see a hot looking drawn chick in a CGC slab. Not true. I want to see good art. It's that simple. I rarely see it from Perez and Campbell nowadays. Really? You'd pass on a hot JSC drawn babe in a 9.8 case? If it was along the lines of the new Extradionary X-Men variant, I definitely would.
  15. I like the Perez, not sure the character has enough publicity and the younger collectors probably don't know who Perez is. Did she appear in Jessica Jones as Hellcat? The ones sold are between $15-20 for a 1:25 seems fair, one sold for $25.
  16. Marvel Team Up #55 is the 1st appearance of two Infinity Gems.
  17. That was basically my point in following up on the post a month ago. Gotta sell before!
