Not really recent. Marvel's reprint line now is their True Believers (has been for about a year or so)... the Marvels Greatest Comics reprint line was from about 7-10 years ago. This, NYX, and a few others got MGC reprints in the mid-to late-00's. I guess it's relatively recent. It was released in 2010. I should have clarified. What I meant was it wasn't a month after the 1st print. It was produced roughly 9 years after the original. I'm surprised there is demand for it but congrats to the seller. I wonder if the buyer thinks this is a 1st print ? This MCG reprints are selling regularly for 10-15$ sometimes 20. Testament that a reprint of a (now) popular comic will yield a HUGE premium, on the condition that only ONE reprint exists. Im betting high on the True Believer New Mutants 98 reprint coming out next month for the same reason. First ever reprint of the classic for a dollar I don't think the New Mutants will increase in price. Dealers are obviously aware of it and will order A LOT. The Alias MGC on the other hand, was not really sought after when it was released. At least not to the point that it is now and it's still only a $15-20 book on a good day.

For the past 2 weeks NM have been consistent on eBay around $100, this is a $40 jump from late September. Nope, not taking anything back, as quoted: But, I think we can say with confidence that slabbed 9.8's will maintain the 250 to 300 range. NM raws will comfortably live in the 100 to 125 range.

Yea, people can ask whatever they want. But until there is demand it doesn't mean anything. You can get the whole Purple Man run raw of Alias for just a touch over 10% of that.

I have to vertical legal size cabinets. I just use thick pieces of cardboard as dividers. Might be tought to find one piece that long unless you live in an apartment building or something similar. Two rows fits perfectly.

Is it for the rarity of it, or just a reasonably loved book in 9.9? 9.9's don't come along that often and it's a minor Spidey key to boot.

The big quote from the Guardians movie was from his mother saying he had something to do with being created from light. If you look at Starhawk's first appearance, it fits very closely. All that aside, the movies tend to stray from the comic stories, so all of this may be a moot point. I've never heard of 8 being labeled her first, but I will put it on the radar. Although, at this point I am thinking what is the speculation value? She did already appear on Arrow.

When I first saw this I thought it said Hulk #1 I do like one of the Awesome Hulk #1 variants.

$30 for a set of 6 books isn't worth the investment, IMO. Unless you can get them for $1 each in NM, that's if you can actually get top dollar too. Lot of if's in there. Like I said, I wouldn't touch a Millar book for spec. at this point.
