Maybe if people weren't so cryptic with their posts on this forum... Drea de Matteo do people care about these limited tv appearances though? Who said it was a limited appearance? I have a hard time thinking they would sign an actor like this for one or two shows.

Kind of baffling that a somewhat talented and pretty well known actor gets cast for a Marvel comic book character and the book gets no bump in price but an MMA fighter causes a book to temporarily jump from $1 to $50 and settle around $20. Daredevil Redemption #1

Those guys are aces. Chris is one of the best. Buy there with confidence, Comic shops are small business that sometimes experience growing pains due to massive influx of business. They will make it right. You just cant win as a small shop. I don't know maybe try contacting them before air out the laundry here. We all want comic shops, but we do are darnest to try to hurt their business or reputation every chance we get. Would you ship 3 comics in one bag to someone who bought something from you on these boards? We all want comic shops, nobody is telling a comic shop to sell things that have to be mailed. That is their choice. They are in the business of collectibles and should have a firm grasp on the importance of condition in regards to collectibles.

IDK, but I look at them more as JSC-drawn variant covers than Midtownvariant covers. -slym He does do a lot for them. The only mass produced shops variants worth less though are probably Mile High.

This link has a picture of the full first cover. The detail is incredible. From the main characters to the background characters, to the cityscape, this is just insane...and few noticed... Ryp is a great artist and master of detail work.

Do they really go for that much? That's actually a low price right now - I'll bet it pops to over $300 very quickly. If it goes past $250 its not because of its rarity, it will be because they want to win. There are two CGC copies on the bay right now one at 6.0 and one at 8.0. either can be had for under $400. This one looks no better than a 7.0 with the creasing to the Bottom RC on the cover. Ended at $177.77

Ha, no, I was quoting you in that the team is "more minor" in terms of appearance than the individual members. Yes, much like with GotG, the individual members 1st appearances are worth more in most cases than the first of the team. But again, the first app. of the multiple forms of the teams also good for some nice change.

You're right, to an extent. #100 is the first appearance of the team, but that sort of thing never has the significance that first appearances of characters will have. So it does have some significance, but in a much more minor way. You're tossing a broad blanked over a very specific situation. X-Force is not the Avengers where people know the team members individually. I highly doubt any of the X-Force will have a solo movie and therefore not the recognition as individual characters. At any rate, I would gladly take an Avengers #1, which has "much more minor" significance.
