  1. Do you get off giving me a good poke? I ain't down wit dat! I wouldn't have chosen the term "get off" I'm just messing around. and right in the ear hole at that!
  2. He was at Cleveland last weekend. Not even line for him. Seemed cool though, wanted a pic for himself of a guy dressed as Deadpool.
  3. Any heat on NM #100 is doomed to disappear, there are just too many of them for demand to keep any sort of momentum Seems to me I've heard that before Sure, but #100 doesn't really have any first appearances to prop it up. I don't think first X-Force team is in the same league as #98 (which is also due for further corrections sooner or later). Of course it's not in the same league as Deadpool, but you contradicted yourself. NM #100 is the 1st appearance of X-Force, who has been rumored for a movie. Nobody is saying it's a $400 book, but it's selling for more than $1 which is what it was 2 years ago.

  5. Victor Zsasz is a reoccurring character on the TV show Gotham. Listings that mention him in the title, Shadow of the Bat #1, seem to do a lot better than those that don't. Mentioned Not Mentioned
  6. Yea, let me guess, it's a robot. Oh wait, that's Marvel.
  7. Yes, he was killed in his first appearance. Quite comically I might ad. If you want to read the story pick up a reader of Shazam #8 So, I guess that makes it two comics in which he appears Some may look at it that way, much like an ad or preview is a 1st. More so it is accepted that a reprint in not a "new" appearance. Like Where Monsters Dwell #6, it's not widely considered the 2nd Groot, the perception is Hulk Annual #5.

  9. color break, top left corner, top staple You seriously can't help yourself, can you? Nope, like Babe Ruth at a tee ball game. You set them up, I knock them out.
  10. If I had $1250 laying around I sure wouldn't spend it on a Hulk 271 Seems a little better than Shazam #28. A second appearance book vs "1 st Bronze age" appearance book. Which is the more perplexing? The fact that people try to figure out why others pay $x for a book. If it helps, those are both second appearances. Your motivation for posting at all?
  11. i guarantee this is because of me... i went in there and raid their dollar bin 2 days ago... took 14 copies... and they were like "whats going on with this book?"... i just said i was taking a gamble... same thing happened when i took a huge stack of Morlocks #1... next day the price skyrocketed ... That's funny. I don't understand the overreaction in price increase however. So he sells a dozen copies for $1 each and that triggers research. That research shows what? Speculation and some $10-15 sales. So raise the price to... $45?? Why? Is their goal to be priced 3-5x higher than the market? Because they almost always have a coupon code for 40-60% off. Boom, back down to 2x market value. Huh? They have them listed for $45. 50% off would be $22.50. There was a link posted to one that sold for $24.

  14. Who said that? I believe Mike asked and Walt said if they keep up with the GOTG movies he could see it go as high a Hulk 181. Hulk 271 is getting a bump as I now see raw NM copies selling between $200 - $300. Rocket may be popular with the kids these days, however, I just don't see him being on the same level with Wolverine no matter how many GOTG movies they pump out. The book will still be a Bronze age key for a while, but no where near Hulk 181. Exactly, Rocket is more trending with toys and younger generations, not established collectors who like Wolverine. Kids are not going to spend $300 on a comic book.
  15. Yes, I ordered it from them and you can still get it using their Excel spreadsheet upload system.
  16. I liked that from my phone. Worked fine on that, but when I went to my PC it took me to the front page. Anyways, yes, I don't really see any spike from the CBM show. New Gods 1
  17. /\/\ Dang, hadn't seen that one, thanks!
  18. This link just takes me to eBay's main page. Hmm, works for me
  19. Doesn't look like New Gods received the Comic Book Men spike.
