  1. No, they disclose the flaws in the listing which included missing CF and Resto among other things. It would grade a .5 incomplete w/resto. Think it's cool they are selling raw.
  2. I've bought from them a couple of times without issue. @KryptoSpidey What exactly went sideways in your interactions with them?
  3. Tape it. The grade should no way be lowered due to the tape imo if it serves a functional purpose. On the flip side CGC should just grade it as if the tape was not there and piece missing so no increase in points with the tape.
  4. Don Heck must have been lazy, the dude with the bullet hole in the head seems to be an exact swipe from Horrific 3!
  5. Submitted. I put a bunch of grades(educated guesses after looking at each book) in a hat and picked 2.
  6. I'm happy, 3.5 and 6.5 respectively. The 7.0 on the Millie was a little high IMO with the "rat chew" corner but guess I could see a 4 on the WC on a good day. No complaints.
  7. Offering up 3 Prizes..... #1 1986 Batman: The Dark Knight Series Prize # 2 Marvel's Greatest Battle Comic Packs - Wolverine & Captain America (with Captain America Annual 8) Prize #3 Mystery Box Lot - Marvel/DC/Image/Others... - Copper and Modern hint... This one will be off the hook...
  8. You were closer than me. I couldn't bring myself to put it above a .5
  9. So on the hulk I thought CGC grades now as if the tape is not there and that piece would be completely detached how is it a 1.5?
  10. The bottom staple looks impacted. Is the bottom cover still attached?
  11. The staples on the FC look a little off, the placement especially. Are those original or added afterwards? Open the book to the centerfold and see if there are any holes in the spine area. Not familiar with the book per se and not sure if that placement is normal. From what I see agree with your 5.0 though.
  12. If you send it in, please report back here with the grade. You might want to consider CGCs prescreen service as well to see if a dry clean and press will help. I'd def considering doing that. This book has been a BA blue chip for a while now and honestly still surprised how much it has gone up. I think you have a nice 7-10k in change with this one.
  13. If you are referring to the one next to the black arrow by the "H" I did see that one and took into account. Even still I have seen several 9.4s with 2-3 CB spine ticks on a 181. Would love the OP to sub this one and see what the grading gods assign.
  14. Wonderful copy! Looks like a 9.4/9.6 to me. I was going to go with a 9.2/9.4 initially but see very little wrong here. Congrats on owning it!
  15. No doubt. His best bet was to try and monetize his "journey". It was like reality TV, so bad but you just had to keep watching. I feel for the kid but man talk about a trainwreck. Peace!
  16. His focus has now shifted from comics to making (or losing) pennies a day in cryptocurrency.
  17. Dale, I've bought from you here on the boards and on your website a couple of times. I recall seeing a "sale pending" status in lieu of the "add to cart" that does not allow someone to purchase an item on the site. What actually triggers that change in status? I understand the site is automated however would consider possibly implementing some logic that is triggered when an offer is accepted to hold the book for a finite period of time and showing the item as "sale pending" . On the offer acceptance email would benefit to explicitly state payment is required in X amount of time. The email as it stands now is confusing and reads as if he had 7 days to pay. I know you said you've never had this come up but based on what Rick posted I can see this coming up again.
