These are all beautiful specimens, and I agree with an earlier poster that on the surface they are at least a 7 if not better. Without BC scans it's hard to make a call. When I see stuff like this always interested in the backstory, did you collect these, inherited, estate sale? In any event congrats on owning some killer SA books.

Spine looks good, might be some gook to get off with a dry clean on the BC. Don't see a press helping much on those magnified defects on the FC though. Nice book overall, thinking 8ish...

There were a few books I was looking closely at that are IMO just great on the clink auction. The Torch 23 Aurora, Marvel Mystery 28, One that hasn't yet closed yet, the ZIP 14 Larson (love those rattler covers). I wish I could have bid on all of them. I stayed focused and got the 1 book I was after before the auction started. There's one more I have an impulse bid on that I doubt I'll get but we'll see. Here's the one I kept focus on and walked away with. Fight Comics 31.

Depending on the extent of the restoration, if minor, it's possible it can be removed. You'll get a knock down on the grade but IMO worth it if selling.

Wonder if someone is going to gamble and remove the CT and put in a blue holder. If it retains the 4.0 or even a 3.5, big win.
