Ha - I will keep this going at least throughout Saturday... then I might nominate a couple of people to do their own. 
Fair question and one that I did not actually consider would be asked. 
It is a mix of things.  Some was originally another family member's. Some still is another family members.   At one point they were giving it away and one family member was simply storing it in their attic.  That was kind of ridiculous to me.   I originally offered to consign it for the relative and all they had to do was take care of the fees.  Now it has come to my operating a couple of eBay handles depending on who gets what.   
What is more interesting is that I can honestly say that I am single handedly changing the collecting market for the collectors of those pieces.   Every collecting base has its own mindset.  For example when it comes to comics, if we replace the staples on a comic we consider it restored.  If you replace the tires on a car it is not considered as invasive since they have to be replaced.  When it comes to the collecting market for that jewelry they believe that once the design is discounted to move the remainder of the stock that the reduced price is the new established 'value'.  With comics we understand that once something is no longer in production that if there is a resurgence in demand for that item down the road that a premium will be added. 
So... I will get messages from that collecting base telling me, "That the piece was clearanced out a year ago at $X... why are you charging $Y for it?  That's not fair."
Well, if I am the only one that seems to be offering that piece and there is a demand for it, they will pay the premium.  They should have bought it for $50 when they had the opportunity.    As time moves on eventually I get what I am looking for.  
Another board member taught me early on that eventually everything sells and if you have a day job that pays the bills that it does not matter when the other stuff actually sells... 

My spouse is handy with a sewing machine and she made a mask for me yesterday. I know it's not the special N95 mask, but the idea is to keep me and others safe.  I am going to ask her to make a few more in different material that is comic related. If you know someone who can sew ask them to make you one too....

stains and tanning will affect the overall grade for sure. there are lots of previous discussion how staining and tanning have significant impact on the overall grade.

I managed to pick up two copies of Swamp Thing 7, my favorite Swamp Thing cover. Didn't plan on getting two copies but apparently I'm still learning how to use eBay lol.

For whatever reason, negativity 'moves the needle' in media terms.   Don't know why.   Maybe it is just human nature that people want to see how bad things are, instead of how good things are.  I was never a fan of the American version of 'The Office' (I find the Ricky Gervais British version much better), but I always liked John Krasniski.  Now I have a new found respect for him:

I was looking through eBay and saw this cover. I don’t think I had heard of this artist before but really liked the cover. With a gift card I had, I only paid $5 for it, and that’s shipped.

this 4 issue story arc from Wolverine fits for me. Probably my favorite covers of his original series 

Since I hadn’t been to a comic store in like 4 years, I decided to use my recent notice to work from home and stop at a store on my way.
going through some stuff, I saw it and was pretty surprised to see it. I asked how much it was, saw that was a good deal less than raw sales on eBay and bought it.
 It will be a good pressing candidate 

Found these 3 books at a flea shop near my house, paid $3.50 for each of them! Best find I've seen at a flea market so far!
