  1. sweet 35 brother i love low grade books that present nice in a slab like that
  2. It was incredible in 3D! If you go in expecting an entertaining origin story with great effects you will leave quite satisfied.
  3. I traded some of my bigger bat books away and felt too big of a piece missing from the collection so just snagged this guy from mcs this morning. Fair enough ask and based on the action with the clink copies and relative rarity i believe this cover will go the way of tec 69. up up and away! just got to get it out of that wretched faulty slab.
  4. You guys enjoying this season so far? I think its been great. Really dark and I'm digging the direction nearly all of the characters are headed. Hopefully this continues as its become one of my favorite network shows.
  5. may have to make a few moves to take a serious run at some of these low grade bat covers
  6. i too considered bidding on this 20, it is a great presenter for the grade congrats! at the end of the day if i collect any more supes i want to stick with covers from the 30's the only exception being 23.
  7. nice one. ac15 is a special book in hand. this would look great if you touched up the rest of the red letters
  8. lets bump this one to the top. quite thrilled about it
  9. thanks! yeah the 16 has been on the radar for a while very happy to have found such a nice presenter of an early bat key. the top staple detached but the eye appeal, colors and pq are strong. its a sneaky key that is undervalued imo but like you say snagging one isnt easy.
  10. a couple recent pickups. hoping to add one or two from the clink auction but i may be priced out at the rate things are going. very happy with these for now:
  11. im not a big individual wrap/page guy, but i am a bats guy and that is really cool!
  12. not sure what i think, or care, about the value of a resto 27 in 10 years. but i am darn happy to be a member of this club. the 30 has since been placed in a proper cgc holder. and ive posted the 37 before but its the pride and joy of my collection. why not show it off!!
  13. and that 37 is finally getting its due.
  14. I recently purchased a 4 figure book from Keith and he was great to work with. Plenty of communication throughout combined with quick turnaround makes for a great new member to the community.
  15. very happy to be a member of this club. i generally am satisfied with low grade copies of classic books. this one though, with the colors and how great it looks in hand... i may be in a perpetual upgrade cycle. i absolutely love this cover
  16. that 36 is nuts. congrats on the pickup!
  17. find this thread so helpful... regarding pre-robins i grabbed a 30 recently and have considered waiting for the other non-bat covers to show up in my desired range and then making a run at them. now have 30 and 37. while my long term (looooong term) goal is to acquire the full run and i dont plan on selling any time soon i am curious of the non-bat cover upside going forward. my dealings are in the G range for the most part. cool or ? thanks bud
  18. I'm in Newport. Not a huge GA collection only about 15 books but one of which I can include in this thread. The colors on this one really pop in hand.
  19. congrats that looks great! i would hold too pre robins are only going up as they are the kings of the ga jungle. if you are looking for a quick flip you may want to reach out to clink and get it in the august auction. there is a special copy up for auction in that event that will draw eyes to the book. as that amount v rockets up near or past the 40k figure you can have your copy catch the tail winds for those that desire a more affordable option.
  20. 27... awesome!! does anyone have the hammer price on the 28 from last night handy?
