  2. I like Graham Crackers as well. This would only be the first or second time I've had any trouble with their packaging, and I've ordered quite a bit through them. Win some lose some I suppose.
  3. Received my Phantoms from Graham Cracker Comics today and was very disappointed Payed for Priority Shipping, but the books were just wrapped in packing paper and thrown into the box. No rigid support at all, so both mine have nasty creases and don't lie flat.
  4. I've not noticed anyone being negative in regards to this book.
  5. Yea, lots of other threads exactly like this one. Don't understand your point at all.
  6. The 106 came from Tim in this thread. Bleeding cool gets a lot of stuff right but they missed here. +1 I'm pretty sure Tim said 106 as well.
  7. It's the same with all issues 2 & 3, both Cover A and Cover B, you simply don't see many out there. I think these will be the sleepers especially considering the numbers printed; if you want to complete a collection you'll be looking to source those. I was lucky that a retailer here in Melbourne, Australia ordered some; hence why I'm sitting on handful. With the low numbers on all these books it could play out many different ways. The first print of the first few issues (led by the Cover A's) may be where people will eventually land when this book gets even more increased attention. It is still very early days and we are just fortunate to be in on ground floor. I still think there is way too much emphasis on the NYCC (which, when you think about it, is essentially one (albeit a limited print) of four reprints. Still, nice to own one... In regards to the NYCC, I think its all about that print run of 106. Its the smallest printed #1. If 300 people decide they want a full set of #1s, That will be the toughest to get. For me, its not the most desirable, but as far as $$ goes, I don't see how that one could flop if the series maintains the current heat.
  8. I think that's highly possible, solely for the fact that I don't own a single copy after #5. The smart money is always on the books I don't have.
  9. 1. NYCC 2. 1A 3. Phantom 4. #1B 5. Hastings
  10. Was it a BIN? I guess it was worth the gamble to someone. Not sure I would have pulled the trigger myself. Yea, I'm thinking 0 feedback scam myself. I likely would have pulled the trigger and paid with the Amex through PayPal. double security. worst that could happen is funds tied up for a few weeks,
  11. Doesn't look like it actually sold as far as I can tell. Maybe a listing error? My mistake. It does look like it sold.
  12. Yea, that videos awesome
  13. So glad I found this thread. I thought I was just going crazy.
  14. I really liked the book... not too happy about how it went either. I wanted to know where the story was going. Grats on the year! Thanks! When I really got back "into" comics towards the beginning of last year, I think it was the first new series I read. I read from #1 to #11 over the weekend, then was crushed when I found out it was on indefinite hiatus. I too would very much like to know where the story was going.
  15. Awe man....now I'm thinkin' about Bedlam again I don't know the story about what happened to it though. I just know some boardies took it as a pretty serious slight. I think their was quite a bit of drama about it not long before I came to the boards... Speaking of which..... One year on the boards today for me!!
  16. Uhhh ohhh Really am sorry to hear that though. That's not good business.
  17. Threw out an offer and was shut down quick, not even a counter offer. Sent an email about the bottom corners... He said it was a bad camera angle and would send me better pictures tomorrow... No way... look at the third to last picture, clearly had impact damage, you can see it from the back cover. Good eye. That's the only pic that its really visible in too.

  19. Only if it is witnessed by a CGC employee will I believe the drawing is authentic. Agreed for 1x stick figure variant, but only if we can get your painstakingly detailed work witnessed by a facilitator.
  20. Gotchya. Can't argue if you thought Garfield was too old as well. Personally, I hated Tobey's spider-man. I've never really been able to explain why. I think I might just not care for him as an actor. I liked Garfield as spidey just fine, but the movies were (imho)
