Why not?
I still have books like Tec #31 and Tec #33 unrestored.
Can’t keep them forever, so time to let the Tec #27 go at auction.Of course I like your estimate $150 - $200 K
I hope you get that price. It’s worth it. I have a coverless missing the CF that came with a married back cover from an old Tec 27 1.0. I look at it maybe once a year.

I’m the proud owner of this Detective #27. I purchased the book in 2003 and time to let it go!
I decided to go the auction house route because it’s difficult to price out for a potential private deal. I chose Comic Link because it was my go to when I was buying books in the day. I started auctioning off books there around 6 months or so. Nothing but professional service and fast payments after books sold!
CGC is accurate in their grading notes but it was hard to tell if the centrefold was married. The centrefold pages seem consistent with the page quality and sizing of the margins compared to the surrounding pages. The spine margins are slightly brittle but the rest of the interior pages are supple and off/white pages.
I took some photos of the interior pages before CGC slabbed the book
Here are the Batman pages from the book!Don’t sell !

It's back up, with the married back cover that was supposed to have been slabbed with the interior.
Thanks CLINK for reading the boards!

Your link still works but it doesn’t come up if I type it in.

Well if anyone ever had a shot at a solidly presenting coverless Tec 27 for a potentially decent price, this would be it. With the married centerfold and slightly brittle pages, may push some bidders away. I honestly have no problem whatsoever with either of those issues. Would be more than ecstatic to own this copy.
Will be interesting to see what it hammers at. I suspect still somewhere over $100K, but who knows. Maybe it sells for less.
POOF ! It’s gone !!!

Would love to know the back story. Who the hell puts that in the mail ? I’m guessing it’s a collector up in years. That thing shud be hand delivered. I’d fit then out or if they were too old to travel go get it myself. Nuts !

Tec 27 will now be 2 behind ?
too lazy to pull it up. Just trying to go from memory.

The salmon color on 38 is unlike no other ( in a good way ). Plus I like the little Bats in the upper left corner.

The Bob Kane File Copy on CC had a huge jump in offers. Up to 220k, Still far from the BIN price but some movement after a long time standing still

The Action 1 CGC .5 is a book I've never seen before. Any guesses? I'd say 300-400k

The Eerie #1 Promise sold higher than what it did last time though. Shows how strong the market is for PCH books.
That E1 is special though
