It hasn't budged since the first 2 days of bidding you mean.
Whats your hammer prediction as the 27-37 expert among us ?

Coverless Tec 27 hasn't budged in a while. There has got to be a ton of room left on this one ? How does it not become the first or second complete coverless copy of a funny book to break 6 figures ??
-
So did the 2nd highest graded Marvel Copy (Pay Copy) sell for 1 million less than the second highest graded Cap 1 copy ?

awesome post Read it through twice.
I can't figure out how delete posts on this thing for the life of me. I asked a question that I ultimately found the answer to

As I'm watching the coverless Tec 27 ........Does anyone remember the record for a coverless complete. I believe it was the Action 1 on eBay a few years ago at 105k ? (or maybe that was the asking price and it didn't;t break 100k?).

Im just disappointed in a few books Cap 1 being one of them. It was a grail of mine for a long time which I traded a few years ago. I always thought it was undervalued even before the Marvel movies. IMO it could arguably be the biggest Marvel book of all time across any age. I still think it's undervalued. Incredible cover, first appearances galore, and tons of cap stories and art.

The bound volumes at the DC Archives Library in Burbank are pretty cool. They have since become separated and put in mylar. Not in the best condition though but kept from what I understand as far back as 1935.

I would gather the centerfold is the most valuable page here to someone. Do you have a back cover to this (hard to discern from the label). I would guess $1200. The front cover is what most people covet about this pre Robin tec

What did the Super 1 hammer at with BP ?

Wow, impressive result for the Marvel 1 2.5 @ $363,528!!! Same copy sold in 2017 for around $87k. Big gain!

does anyone know how much did the coverless #35 went for? thanks
Dunno but check out the coverless Tec 27 on HA. Strong out of the gate. I didn't even know the auction started today

The 8.5 TEc 37 on HA is a thing of beauty

The 4.5 was like a 3.5
The 4.5 didnt have great eye appeal that nasty tape residue along the full length of the spine. Also it was the first non high grade MC1 to be in auction. Kinda normal the next ones fetch a higher price since people see the results. Kinda like Bats1 and Cap1. MC just didnt have many available in auction since its uber rare compared to aforementioned
Its going to hit over 300k most likely and
2.2 for the historic 9.2
The 2.5 is over 300k as of this morning.

Anyone notice Flash Comics 1 1.5 Brittle topping 80k. Just amazing numbers these days. The SUpes 1 1.0 is already over 100k with a day to go

with that PQ ? Hopefully the Tec 37 8.5 will hit that, and it's listed far above the cvrless 27.
In terms of auction estimates (high to low), Heritage lists it under the FF #2 and #3 in 9.4 (dunno how much those go for)
But who knows, perhaps it might go against Heritage's own estimates.
Where do you put the cut off for "good " PQ on a book of this magnitude? 150k would not suprise me. I don't think I'm telling tales out of school that there were offers when this book was on eBay of 115-120k and things have only gotten crazier. Personally, I have no problem with the PQ but then again I wouldn't with brittle either on this bad boy

With silver age mega key prices getting away from most collectors, even for super low grade copies, would you pay for a single page certified by CGC? I mean AF15, X1, H1, FF1, JiM83, ToS39, etc. I've been thinking about it. I think it displays really nicely and it would be cool to at least have a part of comic I wish I could have.
Great question for the boards. The most I've seen sold for a single page from the SA was 4k (AF 15 Splash) And for the record I think GA was 27k (Action 1 Splash). Big fan of Single pages for the reason you mentioned above. It's apiece of history !!

Under 100 would be a crime. 120ish sounds about right in my head. Then again, 150 in today's market still wouldn't surprise me for this bad boy.
