  1. Nothing wrong with ComicLink in my opinion. I would seriously consider them as an option if I was the OP. Also, you may want to look at Sparkle City if you are just looking the auction route. Hakes is also making there mark again as of late. My unsolicited advice: take your time ! There is no hurry ! You are in the drivers seat with that Pep 22 and that includes the ability to sell directly to people and forgoing the auction route. All depends on after you do your due diligence. Also, nothing wrong with hanging onto them as 2 years is sometime a lifetime in terms of the ROI in the comic world
  2. Unclear as to what that means. Taking submissions I assume then ? Thanks for the response
  3. Heritage for me. They will do everything the poster above me said the other outfits would. I was disappointed in their 8.0 Pep 22 sake last year personally. I think Heritage could have gotten more.
  4. I agree with Rick ( hence the 2 copies sitting on CLINK exchange ) but I always felt it was under appreciated ( hence under valued ) for so long. MCU or no MCU. I had bigger hopes for the 2 above mentioned sales but it’s not surprising these days from what I’ve been seeing oublicakky with big books. What was the original print run on this big boy ?? 1,000,000 if memory serves ? Existing copies —possibly 300-500 ??
  5. Anyone know if CGC will be returning to on site grading this year ?
  6. I have seen an Action 1 front cover (3/4 of a cover) that was certified but never a Tec 27. Anyone ??
  7. Anyone have any info on the Tec 27 Centerfold that was a BIN on CC ? (It's no longer there and I can't find a record of it) I've got an ad in the WTB section if anyone has one or any leads.
  8. GA book missing the CF and FC only ( has 2/3 of back cover ) The reason I would like other opinions is that I had a book once ( most of a married front cover ( only a small chunk missing ) , no back cover and most of the insides — it was missing the 1st, 8th, 15th and 16th wraps ) It was initially graded at a NG but upon talking with people I resubmitted and it garnered a .5. What’s considered standard protocol ? Ive gathered at least 3/4 of a book with at least most of the front or back cover present ??
  9. Of the top 10 GA books according to The OSPG and how many do you think survived ? ( unrestored, restored, incomplete ) Hoping someone has some facts and reasonable estimates ( as well as willing to put in the legwork to respond to my question Even if you have info on 1 I would find it interesting. Apologize if this question has been asked for singular books that would qualify in years past.
  10. Is this still not a 1k ppp in the low grades (or thereabouts) ? What happened and when (been off the SA train for a while)
  11. Same here. Guessing that's why it never sold on Ebay. Not sure why it didn't sell on CLink.
  12. How many of the Following coverless copies have you come across ( restored , incomplete ,etc ) Action 1 Tec 27 Marvel 1 Cap 1
  13. Nice! Didn't realize you grabbed that cover off of ebay for 17k. Beauty of a cover. congrats !
  14. Nice Grab Turtle! What's the story behind the front cover ?
  15. OK, I'll put my 2 favorites up WW # 177 and #210, Going to end up in the for sale thread anyway
  16. Yeah, owner kept upping the price I think as high as 45k and then tried to bundle it with a Tec 38. I was surprised it didn't go at 36, 500 for the longest time. Has a lot of tape. Mold and no staples. couple of pieces missing from front page if I remember correctly
  17. Let's see em' if you got em' !
  18. what finishes higher--the Action 1 or the Cap 1 ? It's really close at the moment
  19. Which begs the question what is really rare anymore ? Action 1, Tec 27's, and Cap 1's are more available in auctions lately then I can remember. I think CC has 2 Tec 27's in their next auction. 1 Restored and the other coverless unrestored.
  20. These guys always pull a rabbit out of a hat.(or in this case rabbits) Will be interesting to see if get a higher amount for the 6.5 than CC did for their 7.5. Man, it's a beaut !
