  1. Such a weird configuration that one
  2. No doubt that I am in the minority pertaining to both these books (and I understand how the scarcity of Supes 1 plays into the equation) I personally have never had a desire to own either book is what I was trying to get across not that I doubt what the market commands on either
  3. 20,000 without the cover for a bunch of reprints (basically ). Not for me anyway. I’ve said this many times on the boards that although I appreciate Supes 1 and Bats 1 for their cover art, historical significance , and in Bats case the introduction of The Joker , I would oersjnsnakky have other books ahead of them in the top 5 dropping them to the Top 10
  4. Love when I see DC 1-26 that I don’t remember seeing a cover before.
  5. Thank you both. Do you cover it under your home insurance or is it another type of insurance ?? Difficulty in proving value to the insurance company ??
  6. For those that keep your copies at a bank do you still have insurance on them ?
  7. 14k for a coverless has got to be a record. Extra fuel for the cap 1/ bat 1 debate
  8. Like GAtor said. We’ll never know but 300 seems high. I’d love for the other high end dealers here on the boards to comment. Publications I have read ha e both AC 1 and Tec 27 at 50-100 existing but GAtors 150 + with his experience seems like I number I cud reasonabally Quote if asked and feel secure
  9. I heard it came out In the testimony between DC and Fawcett over the Supes & Captain Marvel lawsuit
  10. since you posted sales numbers maybe you could help me out with info pertaining to Tec 27 specificallyu. Ive never been able to get an idea of print runs or sales on that book. I know of the Action 1 print run of 207k and now what your saying is that they sold approx. 150k of that 207. What about the Dark Knight ? Do you know or have an idea ??
  11. I appreciate and understand that. My question wasn’t so much the characters but more so why these 2 books in particular don’t appear to have as many copies still in existence as their contemporaries (ie all star 8 ). Is it print runs ? Start if the craze ?
  12. What is it about AC 1 and Tec 27 that make them so rare compared to their contemporaries ? Is it as simple as 1938 and 1939 and the start of the hero craze ??
  13. Christopher Reeves influence will probably run out with the generation that Wayne-Tec described but for now AC 1 is king and will be for decades IMO
  14. Action 1 is still king and has continued to solidify its position over past couple years imo
  15. I like this list a lot. I’d move Cap 1 to #5 and then move everything else down accordingly.
  16. Keeping with the hero theme Even the “rare” AA 16. I’ve come across 3 raw copies ( not sure if they were complete ) in the last same number of years. Flash Comics 1–same thing.
