  1. jimjum12: thanks. Have not been to that site for comics research. Will try it. <3
  2. The below Wonderworld has a Dr Fung story which means it is issue #13 or lower. Can anyone tell me if this is from # 4 or 5? Need help please. Already checked Grand Comic Database last year.
  3. Can anyone confirm that the coverless parts belong to Wonderworld Comics #6 please?
  4. Need some help identifying these coverless parts please. Does the right hand side pic belong to Wonderworld Comics (WWC) #3?
  5. From Dictator of Death (Timely) to Adolf and Red Skull.
  6. I only recall a Cerebus back up story that was published in Nucleus (?) about before issue #3 so you must have some top secret info?
  7. I don't recall plot of Future World from 1970s but that makes sense as a plot end game. Just comparing Westworld to the creepier UK 'Humans' tv series of which I watched a few season 1 episodes that seem to take place in London, UK in the near future (say 2018 ?). Androids programmed to help everyday society as maids, babysitters, dog walkers but then the husband disrupts the programming of the nannie by using her as a sexbot and the wife suspects him ....
  8. Found the UK 'Humans' tv series a lot creepier as the humanoids were imbedded in society. Westworld feels a bit like a prequel to 'Humans' if that is the Corporation's end game with product development of humanoid memories and controlled actions.
  9. Loved the background of the Dormammu universe. Like getting hit in the eye by a 3-D Ditko dark dimension <3 splash.
  10. Impressed with how good Vancouver looks in the background. Saw the Bloedel Conservatory (dome) and water fountain behind President Wonder Woman as actress <3 Linda Carter was giving her speech. Don't see too many bright backdrops like this on Flash tv series, as it seems to take place more in the evening or night.
  11. I believe the executive producer of Westworld is JJ Abrams. Just be glad there are not even more time line twists like the Lost tv series which confounded viewers for seasons but was a rich tv series in the long run. JJ also produced or directed excellent Alias tv series with Jennifer Garner (pre-Elektra movie). Even in some of the repeated time loops of Westworld, the Utah red rock Western landscape is wonderful to behold.
  12. Seems like the 1st 2 issues of DC's Rebirth were returnable. 1 of my 2 LCS was selling coverless, stripped Rebirths for 20c each. Good for folks who want to try out a new DC title for cheap like Batman by Finch, Action, Chinese Superman, WW, Aquaman, Green Lanterns, Batgirl, Green Arrow, etc. There were no coverless Harleys, All-Star Batmans (Romita Jr, Snyder), or Suicide Squads (Jim Lee).
  13. Will Hot Flips be bringing any of these mailer boxes and/or mylites to Vancouver Fan Expo in Nov/16?
  14. At first, I was disappointed that Ed Harris's villain character barely appeared in episode 3. Then I realized there are 2 time lines and this Arnold scientist (Anthony Hopkins's creative partner at the time) may be a young Ed Harris before he put on the black cowboy hat and went on a trail of 'vengeance' within Westworld. But I may be wrong ....
  15. A bit of repetition due to the basic game premise of Westworld but the back stories to each character or android still very interesting to watch. Love the lush USA <3 Western Escalante scenery too. Comic book related too, as 1st appearance of Westworld was in Crazy mag #5 (circa 1973) by Marvel-Curtis mag. Story art by Bob McLeod (later of New Mutants fame).
  16. Crazy #5 Nice Kelly Freas cover too. About $32 in nm per Overstreet but not for long, as published by Marvel/Curtis.
  17. May be Liberty Belle in the Capt America suit. I am waiting for Lady Blackhawk to join DC Legends of Tomorrow filmed in Vancouver(?), BC, Canada.
  18. Did Westworld (1973) movie ever appear in any Marvel mag back then or was it only spoofed most likely in MAD mag? Love the new HBO Westworld tv series. <3
  19. JAM, I recommend you change the name of your pedigree collection to 'The Dutch Oven Curator': carefully stored in a temperature controlled oven for decades to maintain freshness.
  20. Happy to see it on Showcase-East from BC, Canada. Saw my office building, the Harbour Center, in the background of 1 of the flying drone battle scenes. Filmed using downtown Vancouver as a backdrop just like The Flash tv.
