  1. New human family history and gaijus added to the Godzilla/Gojira mythos. Viewed first 2 episodes. Above average special FX, good editing, time shifts btwn Philippines 1952, San Francisco circa 1989 and Japan. Apple TV with Toho Co, USA production.
  2. 'Heart of Stone' like a female led 007 mash up with latest Mission Impossible movie UK to Iceland. Good stunt action, lapses in logic, good special FX. Not as silly as Fast and Furious action movies.
  3. I am looking for a coverless GA Superman 12 (one with white patriotic cover) and coverless Four Color 178 (Bear Mtn. Uncle Scrooge). Was told FC 178 is quite common as the print run was huge on Disney ducks ....
  4. Head of CGC Matt Nelson speaketh about conservation/restoration at Collector's Summitt, HA, Dallas, TX Nov, 2023:
  5. Watchable as I streamed it. 'The Killer' starring Chow Yun Fat was better decades ago directed by John Woo. Not as creative as John Wick movies or 'The Continental' tv soundtrack, as 'The Killer' soundtrack is mostly The Smiths' songs about suicide although well integrated.
  6. Both CGC and HA.com will be at a 2.5 day Langley (BC) Sports and Collectibles, card Bossa Event (not a Fan Expo Vancouver) next weekend for the first time in BC, Canada. CGC will be accepting comics, sports/non-sports/Pokemon cards to take back for slabbing in FL, USA.
  7. I wanted to take Sheena 1 also but I am in the lonely tundra of Canada. boo hoo.
  8. No cosplayers, no $1 bins at Collector's Summit at HA.com, Dallas, TX:
  9. Steve Ditko layed out all the artwork then brought the original art in to Stan Lee to write the dialogue circa 1966 ASM #33 classic. Pic courtesy of Bob Beerbohm's fb pg.:
  10. Stay home and stream a very well written /directed BJ Novak Apple tv series 'Lessons in Chemistry' starring Brie Larson instead. Still has 1950s female empowerment but good directing, family script, and acting by Brie.
  11. Looks like a colorized pic of 1950s DC Simon and Kirby. Courtesy of Bob Beerbohm's fb page:
  12. Agreed, current retail prices on weekly comics, variants too high in Canada with excrutiating US exchange rate plus tax. Young greggy remembers 1989 Batman movie hype:
  13. Just surprised DC did not reprint this Vertigo 8 issue 'Bodies' mini-series into a recent trade paperback so admirers of the TV series could read the source material. Excellent TV series that diverts from the 3 issues of the mini I was able to find locally.
  14. Most every creative from the Berkeley, CA, USA 1970s UG movement including Robert Crumb (with hat). Pic courtesy of Bob Beerbohm's fb pg.:
  15. 1951, a good year for Crime comics. Pic courtesy of Bob Beerbohm's fb pg:
  16. Since we are sharing, I will take the bottom left corner Detective Comics 27, Whiz 2 (1) and Human Torch 3(?).
  17. Who needs bags, boards circa 1965? Keeping all comics and hot BLB's raw with Burt Blum of Cherokee Bookshop, CA, USA. Pic courtesy of Bob Beerbohm's fb pg:
  18. So your sage advice is for me to spec on Congo Bill Action Comics hot comic cover appearances b4 the next DCEU movie hype phase? He is like the Phantom or Tarzan only without the loin cloth.
  19. Stephen Spielberg was rumored to direct 'Blackhawk' live action movie in the vein of 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' decades ago. Slab it or stab it (the one-sheet) to your man cave's wall.
