  1. Those snobs in "Pre-Robin Tec Club" wouldn't let me in without a ticket , but I do have an entry to join "Early Action Comics Club" Wooo Hooo I used to have several early Actions, but finances caused me to sell many of them unfortunately. Here's one I kept:
  2. Really awesome copy. Most copies I see of this issue are low or midgrade with dirty yellow covers. Your Supes #3 isn't too shaby either.
  3. That 4.5 copy of TEC 29 just looks out of place among all those 4.0s. I suggest you let me take it off your hands so you can replace it with a 4.0. It's the right thing to do. Seriously, you have assembled quite an awesome run of TECs.
  4. Congrats guys on both copies of TEC 29. I love that book, and it's my favorite pre-Robin cover. Someday maybe I'll have an opportunity to own one myself.
  5. Thanks for the comments guys! There's a couple more Supes I'd like to add to my collection at some point. It will probably take a few years, but it will be a fun journey.
  6. Here's a recent pickup. One of the cooler war covers in the run IMO.
  7. That's quite an accomplishment. (thumbs u I remember Clink having a CGC 5.0 copy of Action 51 that sat unsold for a long time, but it had been removed &/or sold some time ago. Other than that one, I don't recall seeing too many copies of 51 come up for sale.
  8. Wow, four sweet Tecs you have there. Not easy to find them with nice eye appeal like all yours seem to have. Which book is your favorite?
  9. Absolutely beautiful Supes #1. Congrats on a great addition to the collection.
  10. That Look Magazine is really cool. Thanks for posting the interior scans. (thumbs u
  11. Awesome! Thanks for posting them all here. Love the #3. Many of those books are readily available in low/mid-grade, but you'd have to wait a long time to find higher grade examples to come to market. You were wise to snatch them up when you did (like 7,9,12,18, etc) (thumbs u
  12. Nice recent additions Jeff. Do you have your Supes run scanned together in one thread for viewing? I'd like to see a few of them that I missed as you were building your run (like Supes #3 )
  13. Hopefully my Action 15 is a long term keeper. However, if I do ever have to sell it I'll be sure to let you know. (thumbs u Thanks for the kind words everyone.
  14. Thanks guys. I hope to find a Supes #3 to pair with my #4, but it will probably be quite a while before I save up enough to make a run at one.
  15. Here's my latest pickup acquired in a partial cash/trade deal. I mostly collect Action Comics and didn't own any Superman books until now...
  16. Cool colors on that World's Finest. Not a book you see too often. (thumbs u
  17. Great group shot of TECs. The #28 looks sharp in that fortress too. Is the interior complete?
  18. The original art still exists? Wow. There's an "original art" link on Metro's website where you can view a scan of the artwork.
  19. Love the TEC 28. Surprised you say it's the 4th highest graded, I would have guessed it was maybe 2nd best since you never see copies for sale. Great book!
  20. Wow, GREAT books Ben. It would be hard to assemble a more impressive group shot than this one.
  21. I've always really liked this cover. You're right it does look better than a 5.0
  22. Action 40 & 63, probably 2 of the top 5 Action war covers IMO. What are you going after next once your 40-50 run is complete?
