  1. I agree the prices are high on both, but if given the choice I'd take the Action 24. I always wanted a Church early Action.
  2. Now that's a fine looking Tec 35 that presents really well. Not many of them become available, so when they do you have to jump on it. Great pickup! (thumbs u
  3. Wouldn't that sticky note be fairly easy to remove, or is it firmly attached where it would damage the book?
  4. I've looked at some of the Quitely All Star pages as well over the last 6 months. I've been tempted but haven't bought any yet. The "pencils only" pages are a little bit of a turn-off as they look rather light and don't stand out to me. I think if they were inked the visual appeal would be heightened. That being said, I still wouldn't mind owning a page, but for modern art the prices are a little higher than I'd like to spend at the moment. The cover to A.S.S. #3 is awesome but out of my price range. That being said, I've bought a few pages from books simply because I loved reading the book and wanted an example from it. The page(s) I bought may be nothing special, but have a more personal value to me. I know All Star Supes is one of your favorites, so that alone may make a page "worth it" to you. (thumbs u
  5. Nice pickup Ben. A CGC 5.5 Action #20 recently sold on ebay for LOTS of money, so getting a nice looking raw copy at a fraction of the price was a excellent pickup. (thumbs u
  6. I had some Actions out earlier so I took a mini group shot.
  7. As much as I'm a Superman guy, the Joker stories in Detective & Batman were always the most entertaining GA villain stories I've read.
  8. Nice one Matt. I think it's the first Action cover given the "classic" designation too. (thumbs u
  9. Great use of understatement! Congrats Dude! I'll say. Front cover presents like a 5.0, plus it has great page quality. Nice pickup of a great book. (thumbs u
  10. Fantastic Action collection Slacker! What's the grade and page quality on the Action #22? Some nice high grade war covers in there too. (thumbs u
  11. Nice Action 63 Matt. A 63 has been on my want list for a long time, but the right copy hasn't come along. Awesome book. (thumbs u
  12. what did i MISS? Well, off the top of my head, there were multiple copies of Captain America Comics #...1,5,12,13,26,34,36,& 37 ... oh and I think 38.
  13. I don't own any Wonder Womans, but in viewing all the cool/interesting/hard to find books in this thread I may have to add a few to my want list. Nice stuff everyone!
  14. Rick, I notice the seller has low feedback, and prior purchases/sales were relatively low value items. Have you been in contact with the seller?
  15. I really want to get a nice unrestored #35-37 as well as ANY 31 or 33 so what is this one expected to get up to ? http://cgi.ebay.com/Detective-Comics-31-Batman-Kane-CGC_W0QQitemZ220168769629QQihZ012QQcategoryZ35751QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem thoughts ? This seller also has a CGC graded TEC 35, but it doesn't have "CGC" in the title so it may not come up in some searches.
  16. What a colorful assortment of Mystery Men books. Lots of cool covers in that bunch. Great additions to your collection. (thumbs u
  17. a 6.8 Hmmm, well lets compromise and call it a 7.1 Nice book Mike!
  18. Awesome group of TECs 1koko. (thumbs u What's the specs on the #31? (grade, page quality) There's a 5.0 in the current Heritage Signature auction. It will be interesting to see wht it sells for.
  19. Nice colors on that TEC 50. Looks like a 6.5 (thumbs u
  20. Thanks for the info on the Action #8 Bangzoom. One of my favorite non Superman covers. I wonder if there is source material out there for some of Guardineer's other Action covers.
