  1. Looks like he's trying to smuggle or hide her, yes.
  2. I had figured they used the word "Crisis" for a reason. Maybe they're setting up for a Flashpoint storyline?

  4. Costume could be a bit "redder" but that's just me nitpicking.

  6. I would buy it, but that $95 shipping fee...
  7. man that guy looks like weevil from yugioh
  8. I think people were expecting a show like The Wire or The Shield with Batman characters and they got this. It's been two episodes; it'll pick up. I'm excited to watch the arc of Fish Mooney being pushed out and Penguin taking over her operations. The Penguin character is great. He has the ability to play the perfect sympathetic "mama's boy" and draw people in with boyish charm but then can completely flip it and become a complete psychopath. Reminds me a lot of Anthony Perkins in Psycho.
  9. Broken post means it has to be re-graded, right?
  10. Figures. I have both of those books in Florida right now. Haha.
  11. To be fair, the sarcastic "With chives, sir" Alfred wasn't really around until Frank Miller's "Year One".
  12. From that range, a .308 caliber round would not have reached as high a speed as it would have had he shot Absorbing Man from the window.
  13. I wouldn't think so. I don't know if they'd be bold enough to introduce one in a TV show. But you never know.
  14. The girl playing Selina looks like a young Michelle Pfeiffer, too. That only adds to the character for me.
  15. I see they mentioned my old house on the show. Excellent. Mother will be pleased.
  16. The only truly fair way to do this would be to do it "double blind". Both graders receive scans of the same raw books. Neither knows what the books are, or what the other person grades them at. A third party would be responsible for finding the books (of various grades, naturally) scanning them and receiving the respective grades from the two competitors, the books are sealed and sent to CGC. When the books are returned to the third party, only then are the grades revealed to the two competitors and if they wish, they can compare notes. The grader with the lowest margin of error wins. If you wanted to get even more detailed, have the two graders prepare their own grader's notes with various defects and why they gave a certain book a certain score. Grader's notes can then be purchased from CGC and compared. The loser would agree to donate a small amount to a charity of the winner's choosing. Fair?
  17. If Clock King doesn't show up, Fox is getting a strongly-worded letter from me.

  19. I have three books I submitted today after getting them signed at the Pittsburgh Comicon. Death of Wolverine #1 - Herb Trimpe variant cover signed by Herb Trimpe Amazing Spider-Man #252 signed by Ron Frenz Wolverine (Vol. 1) #1 - signed by Joe Rubenstein I was going to get my Infinity Gauntlet #1 signed by George Pérez but apparently his father took a turn for the worse, health-wise and George had to leave the convention early.
  20. Spoke to some people from CGC today at the Pittsburgh Comicon. They said they're finally caught up from "Con Season" and they're doing everything they can to clear the logjam in QC/Shipping. Hopefully things will be moving soon. I Fast-Tracked three Signature Series books today so I *hope* to have them back within a month.
