  1. Tom regularly posts on the Technodrome forums. If you aren't a member, you should probably go fix that. http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/index.php awesome long live TMNT
  2. The quality of Image comics has made some large strides from the 90s to current.
  3. TMNT had a crossover with Savage Dragon? never knew that.
  4. Cowabunga!! It's a shame someone took a marker and wrote on the front cover Awesome book. But werent you worried that getting it signed could have lowered the grade?
  5. very Nice. Ive got a double cover CGC 9.8 too but youve got me beat since my outer cover is 9.6. I wonder if your copy would have achance at a 9.9 since the outer cover is 9.8 too?
  6. I'd say $300 would be the very most you'd expect to get for one in an open auction. I picked my copy up from a board member for less than that and I've seen them on ebay over the years for anywhere from $75-$250. For those who don't have the link, it's the Hardcover version of the 6th print deluxe edition of TMNT #1. And thanks, Forrest! Thats sounds right. You could pick up a higher grade first print TMNT 1 for the price listed on that auction.
  7. anybody reading the new series? and if so what are your impressions. I heard there are like 12 variant covers.
  8. I own most of the OA for the book. You can check it out here: Comic Art Fans Wow, talk about under the radar. That's the first time I've seen the book sell for less than $500. Ya thats a really good price for such a rare book.
  9. If I remember correctly thats when Kevin or Peter sold the original artwork for the entire TMNT 1 issue. Quite frankly I would definitely rather have that than a copy of action 1 or detective 27. If you can't find original art you can always use this... Man, I remember when the variant white cover of that book sold for $25 a pop. Now its not even listed in the PG. The funny thing is the OSPG doesnt even really list TMNT 1. I know technically its listed but I just cant get over the fact that for the last 6 or 7 years they cant assign this book an actual price even though they assign prices to Gobbledygook 1 and 2 whose sales are very limited and the prices are all over the place.
  10. Isnt the ashcan for the new series that just came out?
  11. Forgot the Gobledygooks that were on the last comiclink auction. Just checked their final prices. Seems there was a significant drop from when those copies sold last.
  12. Awesome! Thanks for the info. What year did that come out?

  14. What are those? Comics Peter Laird drew while in school. If memory serves me, one of the characters in them was Wyrm, but he was a good guy. I've never seen them,or even a scan of them so I guess they are pretty rare. Very cool. were they mass printed at a later time?
  15. ...never seen that before. There was another Turtles rip off title but cant remember it.
  16. Are you looking for crossovers from the first series only?
  17. garage sale finds like that are really fun. Something that possible unlike finding an Action 1 but still exciting.
