wow just wow on that 9.8 - but cant believe that 9.4 went for just above 6k. if I hadnt recently picked one up would have been all over that. Am I missing something - looks really nice with great centering and wrap. It went just a few 100 more than the 9,2 with the horrible wrap.
I said it before -for whatever reason 9.4s are soft in terms of price compared to all other 129 grades. maybe should be picking up more 9.4s at these prices - especially with where the 9,8s are going.

Knowing we what I know now would be very different then what I would have bought purely as a collector
purely as a collector DD 1-8 or hulk 1 and Spidey 4
crazy that DD1 is more than xmen 1 on there

I dunno. It seems to me the answer is more straight-forward. Because the most recent sales are assumed to be the most informative, the 9.4 book likely sold for too little (and the 9.0 book sold where it should have on that date). In other words, folks didn't realize how much they wanted the 9.4 until it was too late. I've seen this happen before with other issues that sold within a short period of each other.
You have a very good point. I think that’s what happened
Regardless that 9.4 was a steal - it’s not like it’s cream or there is a large white gap
Just to put it in perspective a 7.5 just sold today on eBay for over 3k and 8.5s are inching towards 4K

Saw that. The 9.0 was a centered white pager but still...
Yup saw that too but big difference between a 9.0 and 9.4 as opposed to an 8.0 and 8.5 say.
but I have noticed for some reason 9.4s have been soft in general compared to other 129 grades.

How did a spidey 129 Cgc 9.4 sell for $5643 on ComicLink tonight and then the very next lot a spidey 129 Cgc 9.0 sell for $5750

An ASM129 cgc 9.8 on eBay asking $38K sold on best offer tonight, but the view-page-source trick no longer works (hasn't for a few days now) to determine price paid. Anyone know how to find price paid now?
well - a 9.8 on heritage tonight sold for just under $34,000. with internet tax looking at anywhere from 35 - 37k.

If that’s the case I just am amazed ow-w vs white makes that big a difference for collectors especially since you can’t even see interior pages in the Cgc case
the 9.2 and 9.4 ended up being almost the same price
Yet that 9.4 could visually pass as a 9.6
