Guessing a few are purchasing much quicker that they should without reading second print.

The "Season 2" approach may entice a bunch of new readers. Leaving people wondering what that means and asking questions about the book. Talk is good. If I were not already into the series I'd be way more apt to pick up a volume 2 #1 than a #7 before I went looking for the earlier prints. Im in for the 60 no matter what. Hopefully even more!

Hey Dane, it may be easier to use a list somewhat like this one and just remove the ones that are sold to be accurate with the numbers of boardie owned copies.

I wouldn't sweat it at all. I am certain many people would be happy to take it off your hands. Ive picked up quite a few books off of Court and both he and the service has been extremely top notch. If the label is the only issue it can be a quick fix just by dropping it off at Bedrock City Comics and they'd handle all the CGC leg work.

Was wondering. He sees those $ signs, haha. Buy it for $325 and post on eBay for $500 OBO? Lose 10% to eBay and 3% to PayPal with free shipping, for a quick profit of $100 or less. Accept a best offer and almost break even for a book that hasn't even arrived yet?

I think it was a nice buy. A large number of the minuscule 106 are already in collections that won't be seeing the market. Or are on the way to said collections.

Getting close to a month since I said this- getting close to $700 too! The *asking* price maybe, but the highest sales price on eBay is still just over $300. Although, two 9.8 NYCC 2xSS copies sold at $500 each VERY quickly to boardies a couple days ago. Not sure how that might translate into blue-label 9.8 copies, but so far there's not much sign of price resistance yet. Will be interested in seeing how quickly (or if) this current sale happens. Make that three SS NYCC's sold VERY quickly. Two to me. Hence me listing one of my universals, no secret. It's pretty interesting to learn from each one of my Enormous Phantom slabs I've sold on eBay that not a single buyer had heard of the boards. I always just assume it's a boardie who is also a fan and am surprised to learn they are not on the boards as a fellow fan of the series within this thread. The readers/collectors are out there for sure beyond the boards. I will let you guys know what kind of action it gets.

Well said. Hastings may be among the worst when it comes to packaging. I'm done with them. Midtown has always sent books packed extremely well that were handled with care, same as Third Eye Comics and MCS (slabs). I have yet to have anything but great experiences from those sellers.
