I'm not sure I could come up with one movie... if anyone can, I wouldn't mind seeing it. I'm with you, I tried to come up with something in a conversation and couldn't think of any. Says a lot about the series. Very original works that are celebrated are often one of a kind.

When describing Rat Queens to someone unfamiliar with the series what is one movie that may be a good one to compare it to?

I really like the addition of Forest, I think he's a great actor. Hopefully he can sway in other talent around him.

Depends on the grade. 9.8 blue label last sold for 1k I believe. Don't think you can find a raw vf for less than $600 these days. I agree, will be really tough to track a raw copy down for less than $600. I'd rather put $1000 into a 9.8 or a bit more for an SS but that's just me. I may not be the best source of opinion though because it is one of my favorite covers and series. Blue or yellow they look extremely sharp. Not many slabs present as well in blue or yellow IMO. Dang it, now I want a blue as well.

I thought it was okay. Picked it up from their booth at at a con for cheaper. I personally don't think it's worth the eBay prices. Maybe you'll see them at a con and get lucky.

I'm sure those few die hard AntMan fans once thought a feature AntMan movie was a pipe dream. That still baffles me.

Good points Jay. I honestly have no clue what's a reality. The X-Men are a flagship and doesn't appear that they are gettin the proper love in the future they have earned/deserve by Marvel. I'd go see the movie, mainly out of curiousity and I enjoy Emma on the screen. If Gwen bites the bullet in all formats so be it. Yet I'll root for it to happen with unrealistic dreams of DC taking note and developing some crazy live action Batman Beyond movie.

Is it really not a possibility? Honest question. I would think the studios do not care that the bulk of th general public has no knowledge of several Spider-Woman's and alternate universes. They see Emma and the dollar signs that follow her. (I don't really have a dog in it since I only have one EOSV copy.) If they can fade out mutants can they upset a few die hard fans and get away with it? I think the $100 million opening weekend would make them forget about that. No?

Can Hollywood ignore her interest? Channing expressed an interest in Gambit and that came about pretty quick. I can't recall but thought I remember a few others who said they'd like to be in a super hero movie that also got news of it happening. Maybe not.

A emoticon does not exist for the sadness that just fell upon me. Yet I'll keep looking. Did finally track down a JTHM #1 I anticipate coming back a 9.8 and a black Tick #1 9.8 so I'll keep the hope alive.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the asking price on the 9.2 SS? If you do mind me asking, just ignore this post. If I tell you will you leave one blue 9.8 for me? Deal? Deal! The seller at Comicpalooza was asking $160. Seamed fair to me for a SS of a tough book to track down. Yet the 9.2 factor and O'Barr dated it with the year. I'm not really a fan when creators throw a date on it. Or understand it.
