  1. How in the world are these still available at those prices, print runs, and how much went to getting these signed?!?! http://www.ebay.com/itm/201309042676?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
  2. First cringe of the day with that thought.
  3. Mind blown with that double pack thought! Okay if I also see G.I. Joes Crimson Guards on a double action figure cover I'd jump on that one too. Man I went to so many Toys R Us stores to track that down! A double Stormshadow/Snake Eyes would be beyond cool as well. Preferably not Snake in a casket. The nerve of them! Ideas out! Who's going to be the first? Nudge nudge variant makers!
  4. Is anyone putting a complete run of action figure covers together? As in outside of SW, be really cool to see them all gathered up back to Scud #9. If I'm not mistaken I believe that's when it began. I'm definitely not due to other want list books on my priority list but they are definitely awesome looking. Granted if I see a double pack action figure pop up with Han and Greedo I'll be all over it! Matter of time I guess for a double SW action figure cover.
  5. You are both very right. I was more so looking at the 9.8's being lower than the 9.6's on the census, but that very well may change as well. I've been on the fence with mine since I got it in due to shifting my PC towards larger key Batman books since Batman has always been my #1 and the funds could definitely help. As much as I like Miles he's quite far down the list for me personally. Tough one.
  6. That's a extremely nice submission! I better retract any and all comparisons to 678 MJ now
  7. Oh my goodness! Got a pic of those beauties?
  8. No pitchforks! I am also a fan of the 678 MJ!
  9. The movie hype definitely played its role as it often does. Yet it is a key book if you like Miles or not and a rather tough one to track down raw as a 9.8 candidate. It is fairly uncommon to see a majority of a single book graded that is a modern to be under a 9.8, especially a Marvel book. I know the beloved ASM 678 Mary Jane has a very low census as well and would guess is also quite low on 9.8's. That book fetches big bucks and isn't a key outside of a small amount printed. Granted, if some classify that as a key. Im not hyping since I only have one and don't plan on selling, just conversing. UF 4 Variant 71 on the census 24 in 9.8 (19 universal and 5 SS) 47 under 9.8
  10. You and me both. Sometimes I wonder if studios have some people on staff to "leak" these supposed Easter eggs just to judge if hype builds around them before taking action in that direction. No clue how anyone watching that without freezing the show frame by frame would see that picture.
  11. Yes something along those lines in addition to a possible pic of Miles as Spidey or something in a newspaper clipping on a wall in the show. I didn't put much into it as a reality, just something I came across. I'd say unlikely but who knows. I like Miles, also a thank you to Aweandorder who pointed out a few UF4's that were $6 on the bay. I picked them up and subbed one and got a 9.8! Yay Awe!
  12. Very true, I'm sure the starting price will keep them up in price. Aside from a few sellers who ordered bulk and would rather move them along than bleed them out. I'd be pretty surprised to see them go for under $30. Not a $60 or so profit but it definitely beats a loss. I hope it works out for everyone who ordered heavy on them. Fingers crossed for you guys no one got bulk at a discount and undercuts everyone.
  13. 5000 action figure completists exist? I really don't know the action figure cover world.
  14. I just got this one in the other day from CGC (Thank you THB!). I'm not so sure I could part with it. It's definitely a tough 9.8 to pull and I love the cover. It may be getting a bit more attention due to the "Easter ages" stemming from the Daredevil show that elude to a possible Miles Spidey on the show. Or that's what I took from the write ups I've seen.
  15. Wow is right. Even if it's an error and they sold a little more than intended on the site out of the ones set aside for the con they should fill the order since you paid IMO. I hope they make it right with you.
  16. You know how when you love a series it's not uncommon to have one book, cover, or marketing material that you just are not feeling. At this point it's a pretty safe assumption anything Enormous by Tim and Mehdi will not be falling into that category. That poster is another stellar addition into the mix! Whoever wins I WTB
  17. Speaking of combo packs (haha), I picked up my Superman Unchained #1 to bag and board it better and the polybag tore apart. Luckily it's a great copy but I RARELY take books out of the original packaging if that's how the book is bought. Ah well. Curious, what do you think it would grade? I keep hearing stories about combos being poorly handled at the factory stage 9.4 - 9.6 in my opinion using http://comicspriceguide.com/comic-book-grading. I've never had a book graded so I am a novice at that. It's a great collection copy 'fo 'sho It all starts with combo packs! Next thing you know you're checking for grade updates daily from CGC on submissions!
  18. Got this one in today along with a few others but this one is definitely my favorite out of the bunch!
  19. New blood may be joining the club very soon. I'd guess even a few more once that trade hits the shelves.
  20. Just dropped my phone from knee jerk laughter from this and hisssssssss
  21. This is better than a hug. No look fist bump to Enormous!' Well I was going to get some things done. Now I'll be stuck watching this . Love it! #TeamEnormous
  22. No, that's the for the next Bedlam. Not the next Enormous news.
