  1. Richard Comely teaches cartooning at the local University and drops into the local comic shop once in a while.
  2. I'd get a safe that holds bullion as well. Almost time for another round of buying.
  3. 21 cm x 33 cm ...actually a few millimetres smaller but that should do you. 2.54 cm in an inch so 8.26" x 12.99"
  4. Looks like a killer copy! This copy is from an Original Owner collection I just picked up. I'm pretty excited!
  5. Unfortunately, for the time being I am not. Just too expensive for me to play with at this time. I live vicariously through the pics of others!
  6. Was he sick last night? Strong fly bug going around these parts...
  7. Borock has come on in the past and repeatedly stated that if someone can build a better slab, CGC would gladly use that idea.
  8. But pressing isn't "new" starting today. It's been going on for a while. You don't think people have been looking at Hulk 181s for the past few years? The reality is, pressing a book into a 9.9 isn't like just turning the press to "11" and watching the magic happen. Books that can grade out at 9.9/10 are FREAKS of preservation, to find a book with a slight, pressable flaw that could turn into a 9.9 is probably just as rare as finding a true 9.9, just because it's got to be an uncanny combination of issues. + infinity to the part in green. What normally gets perfectly preserved books a 9.8 instead of a mint grade is almost never pressable. Tiny bindery tears, tiny flecks of white at a corner, tiny, nearly imperceptible spine tics on otherwise perfect books. I would love to hear anyone post a "press to 9.9" story, because I don't think one exists except for people that are pressing moderns. +1, something as simple as a scratch in the gloss will keep a book from grading 9.9. Completely different universe when compared to lower grades.
  9. Wolverine is no small thing, right? Canadian man-love. An awesome sight to behold. Yes, I like short hairy men with big forearms. You got me.
  10. Wolverine is no small thing, right?
  11. Silvers, go for a barefoot walk in the snow. Can I be naked and walk around the earth like adam once did? Without getting arrested for being drunk in public and indecent exposure? I think as long as nobody sees you it's ok. (thumbs u
