  1. That book was incredibly white. I think remember when that book sold. That was the 6.5 that went for $13K two years ago wasn't it? There was all kinds of talk about that book.
  2. That's relative. yes, which only supports my theory that there is no such thing as an absolute truth. All perspectives are relative including experiences which we use to determine "truth". There are of course, facts, but these to are relative. Richard Bach.....Illusions.....the book that shaped my senior year in high school..... that and Karen..... I'm not going to disagree with you as long as we're talking about human perception. There are absolutes. I just believe that we have trouble recognizing them. Yes, human perception. Our brains and ability are limited by our language and ability to conceptualize and define an image or concept. And I use "language" as the extension of description. If we were capable of removing the limitations inherant in our carbon vessels, we would be able to distinguish between absolute truth and mere relativity of A to B while the system moves in C all the while a person viewing from inside C and one outside of C. I compare it to Newtonian physics. Science long felt that these were absolutes and ultimate truths even produced that Law, only to find out that they only really apply in cases of larger than molecular levels, much larger; relative in fact. But truth be told, I like belly dancing.....viewed from A or C, live or taped. I think it's safe to say that belly dancing is good. Truth.

  4. I would never take the top copy...I don't do marvel chipping Everyone has his or her preference, but the bottom copy is an easier sale. Exactly. There is not "rule" cause everyone is different.
  5. CGC has been fairly consistent with chipping IMO. Sure the odd book slips through but over all, they have taken it into account when grading books. I'd say your 8.5 would grade higher if it didn't have pre tears up the side (and I think I see several).
  6. Prices seem to be rising for high grade DC Silver, so I can only think that it's because people are realizing how underpriced they have been compared to Marvels.
  7. So then it did have some hard to find in high grade major keys like Iron Man #1, Iron Man Sub-Mariner #1, Incredible Hulk #102, Avengers #57, Sub-Mariner #1, Captain Marvel #1, etc. The later and not as scarce Marvels. yeah I think its either post 1963 or 1964 that MARVEL are in plentiful supply, It could explain why Daredevil in mid-grade doesn`t go for more. That and the fact that the character is a 3rd or 4th tier one now. Really? I'd put him at 2nd tier at worst. Moderns sell like crazy and he's still beloved by Marvelites. He's probably one of my favorite runs to collect.
  8. It's a great book. Unfortunately the hobby has been Marvel heavy for some time now but that seems to be changing. DC really seems to be picking up steam.
