  1. Well said. Pink back ground? Sorry. MMC #9 CGC 9.4. Superduperrockingrollmeoverandhaveyourwaywithme I love that book. Just in case you guys didn't know.
  2. I knew I could count on you to say the wrong thing Now, say the following out loud to yourself: "I prefer Marvel Mystery #9 over Batman Number One" and see how ridiculous it sounds I know which one I'd choose. Actually, already did. I don't like low grade books that look low grade. Even if it is a big book it doesn't allow me to enjoy it.
  3. Yup. Love it. Thanks for sharing!
  4. Nice mid grade run. Got pics as proof that you own them?
  5. Bronzilla goes by JR in the real world No worrys..been called worse! VTComics owns a raw copy in 3.5 or so. Heshowed me a pic of his once. Its a full page ad and is quite cool! Maybe he can post it here. I will PM him Did it look like this?
  6. You don't have curly hair hanging down all the way to your arse, thus, you cannot hope to be as cool as Roy. yeah, but after I put a beating on him in Chicago, he will have a #4 cut! (thumbs u I haven't played a game in 19-20 months so you might just be right (Sept 07 if I remember correctly). Oh, and I weigh more than I ever have. Maybe we should postpone till next year?
  7. Are you implying I don't buy? Jim No, not at all. I was talking about the conversation between JC and Rick. It's funny.
  8. This thread is interesting. Buyer/seller having a conversation arguing with non buyer/non seller about sales data.
  9. Lots of books bought here also get submitted. Would it be incorrect to call it a viscous cycle?
  10. I've been getting crazy money for books if I wait them out...often double what I asked for them when they were for sale on here. Many of them are tougher books granted. The more common stuff has tanked. R.
  11. Fawcett goodness is a wonderful thing to be addicted to. IMO too under rated these days. R.
  12. I thought it was kind of slow too. I listed at discounts to FMV and then another 15% off (CGC and raw books) and very little action.
  13. Looks like Ditko inks at the very least or even pencils with some unkown inker. Very Ditkoesque....
  14. No offense, but not so much. I love the way Schomburg made the suit drape in the wind and I'm primarily a fan of pre '42 Schomburg. Besides, his skull is cracked. The Thrilling # 35 is NOT a Schomburg cover.... I saw that after I looked at the cover again. (thumbs u

  16. I just can't imagine keeping books like this locked in a slab. You should see people's eyes as you flip through them in the local comic shop. They've never seen anything like it. To me it'd be like putting a historic document in a safe where nobody can see it. What's the point? R.
