Sometime last year I discovered the original run of ASM i had as a child (about 50 or so issues) that my mother had burned and went, "hey, that's a good price, sure, what the hell." A short time later, after they arrived, I was like "OH DAMN, I NEED THEM ALL" Now, a year later, I have issues 100-current with nearly all the variants. My bank account hates me but 15 year old me is jumping up and down everyday.

But wouldn't CGC a) update your info on their site and b) charge your cc as soon as it's received?

Nearly finished week 13 with no movement and still no reply on any of my emails. Getting rather annoyed. If it wasn't the fact that they are next to CGC and I save on stupid 'from Canada' shipping I would be shopping elsewhere.

Yeah, I'm not overly impressed w the communication. I've emailed 5 times over the past 2 months to CCS to find out where abouts they are on the invoice dates and not a single reply. I called and the girl I spoke to said "sometime this month" last month.

Not to laugh at your misery, but I have to admit that was funny as hell. Did you respond to this stupidity? And if so, what was their response?

This is a great endorsement! Being a first time customer, I'm hoping it's worth the wait. I've never liked the "pay for quicker service" from any company CGC, CCS or CBCS, but if the quality is good, I sure don't mind waiting.

I subbed books end of October and am now around the 15 week wait without any movement. So I think you'll be in the new TAT if you subbed Dec/Jan. 15 weeks. For pressing? Sorry, I should correct this. I miscounted. If you exclude the week of xmas, I'm at 12 weeks, Monday Feb 9th is week 13.

yeah, maybe stupidily. I've every variant for the latest vol of Amazing Spider-man (excluding all of the #1 variants, that'll come later) and am working on all the variants from 400 +. Stupid variants. Killing my bank account.

yeah that guy sent mine in a legal flat rate envelope with little to no packing material. It showed up with a hole in the package. I was not amused-- but they got lucky and no damage- but like you-- they lost my business. some photos... Can't believe you even got cardboard! Mine didn't get that even!

this guy infinitycomics902 ships single issues in an envelope with backing boards and bags only. I bought a book from him and while waiting for the arrival, had bought a second (it was a pre-order). When the first arrived w a non-color breaking ding (that wasn't in the pics) I politely let him know to at least stick a single piece of cardboard in there to protect the comic from shipping and that I hoped he would do it for the second. Zero response from him and low and behold, no protection on the second either. Won't buy from him again.

I think they are doing this now, when my last set of slabs was shipped in Dec, I got 2 emails with the tracking number.

Who the EFF does this? You see the price, you buy it for said price. End of story. You dont' like the price, pretty easy...don't buy it.
