  1. Get outta here. ...unless the people were pushed down the stairs by other people, I call BS. Hey, I'm just telling you what I've been told. I've not met anyone who's worked there and not had an issue or experience. Lots of weird mess happened there. Doors shutting on their own. Shadows. Things jumping off shelves. Those grounds were known for their experiments on the mentally disturbed as well. One dude who worked with my misses had one of those big solid steel patient room doors with the tiny windows (like you see in solitary confinement) slam shut and lock him in for about an hour. The rooms weren't sound proof and he was banging on it and screaming for his worker friend to open the door - who was just standing on the other side of the door painting - and he didn't hear him. Stuff like that.
  2. Yep, that's the place. It's like a mini - city. There was one building that was apparently off limits to be filmed at (not sure if it's mentioned in that episode or not - don't have time to watch) and it was the set for the film Jennifer Eight - which was the last anything to film there because it got too dangerous for the crew. People being pushed down stairs and such so they ended up boarding up that building and stopping any crews from going in.
  3. The only "Fun Fact" I have about this week's episode is that all the hospital scenes were filmed at a place called "Riverview" which is an old insane asylum in Coquitlam, BC. It's rumored to be haunted - I've heard tons of crazy ghost stories. And it's consistently used to film big and small films. Some of the stuff that's filmed there: X-Files, Happy Gilmore, Smallville, Stargate, Romeo Must Die, Elf, Jennifer's Body, Fringe, Supernatural, Arrow, X-Men (Can't remember which one)
  4. That's actually cool info. Thank you. No probs. I still find all this stuff REALLY cool despite working in the industry for many years now so I assume others will too. Glad my assumptions are true!
  5. We need photos of things like this Haha. The rules were kinda pushed to let me on set the one day so major trouble would have occurred had I pulled out my phone and started snapping pics while they were rehearsing their stunts but believe me, I really wish I could have!
  6. It's Fun Fact Friday! The town of Salvation is located on a farm out here and heavily used anytime someone needs the good ole west. Besides Legends, my misses worked on a country music video also shot there and I worked on this super dark western called Strange Empire : https://www.netflix.com/title/80052650 (Might only be available on Canadian Netflix) All of the indoor shots in the saloons, etc were also shot on that farm with the exception of the sick kid's bedroom. That was built in studio and filmed in studio. As well, all the campsite stuff (tents, ropes, barrels) were brand new and had to be aged to look like it had been severely weathered over the years. They had lots of problems with that because it was raining most of the time and continuously washing away their work. That's all I got for this episode.
  7. Sweet! Also: White Canary's stunt double is SO much hotter than her haha
  8. Fun facts: 1)The ship's jail is in the same location/studio as the engine room but in a completely different location then the rest of this ship. It's also the same studio space as the 1920's apartment/house set that Hawkgirl/Hawkman are in mid-way through this episode 2)The bust of Bran Bran is styrofoam. 3)The outdoors location that the 'big fight' happens at is a sewage treatment plant and I guess it was horrid to work there because of the smell. Well, maybe not "fun" but fact! But seriously, if you guys aren't finding these occasional 'fun facts' of mine that interesting, feel free to tell me to shut the eff up
  9. As someone who worked in both customer service and technical support via phone for many years, I can tell you first hand that both myself and colleagues will ALL go above and beyond for wounded bird and will absolutely do the bare minimum to assist a jerk who comes at us all angry and demanding. And I'm in Canada - we apologize for everything!
  10. Central City police spotted on location the other day
  11. Hey now! Don't make light of his Scott Pilgrim role. Touche!
  12. I didn't care for the Atom/Palmer on Arrow either. Really a bumbler. I think the reason why he is getting most of the action is because Brandon Routh is the biggest star. Less Atom and more Captain Cold and Heatwave. I think Routh is going to turn into the next Keanu Reeves. By that, I mean, one of the nicest guys around so will get work based on that but terrible actor. Also explains why his career didn't explode after Superman.
  13. Here's a neutral feedback that jackwagon received as a seller himself last year: From: Buyer: d***a (215): Product came great but severely overcharged shipping & didn't respond to emails. Reply by cmacd85 (21-Nov-14 03:15): Was charged $10.95 and shipping cost $10.20. How was this "severely overcharged" Follow-up by d***a (21-Nov-14 10:58): Shipping was 2.95, want me to post a screen shot of the shipping sticker? That 10.95 feedback was me. He charged me freakin' 11.00 for something that cost him 2.95. Guy is a total scammer. He also uses other accounts to up the bids on his items. the feedback i gave was in reference to a Spider-man variant he started the bidding at .99. I put my max bid at 10.00 and a 0 feedback seller bid up and over my max bid, then retracted the last bid so I was winning. I wanted it and it was a 1:25 variant so I'm not bothered by the cost as much as the shady manipulation. I checked a bunch of his other auctions and low and behold, all of the ended ones were in similar manner. I direct msg'd him about the shipping cost, got no answer so neutral him and was severely taken back that he actually argued it to save face knowing full well he overcharged for shipping.
  14. I have never been more excited about a comic adaption then this series! It was my fav book at the height of my rebellious phase!
  15. Fun fact: They are filming this in the same studio as Legends of Tomorrow (well, one of LOT's studios - they have many)
  16. I don't know about that. My wife is working on this and the set they've built is incredible. Like "movie good" not "TV good" so it wouldn't surprise me if they do pull it off.
  17. Am I the only one who gets uneasy when someone local asks for "local pick-up" and then when you reply with a suggestion of meeting somewhere public (you know, comic shop, Starbucks) you never hear from them again?
  18. it's not outlandish if that's the fair market value.
  19. Kav wins the internet! Nothing more to see here.
  20. Not that I know who you are talking about but I'm in the same boat. about 300 feedback, give or take and I've only just discovered the buying shipping through ebay to get tracking, etc. Stupid me could've been getting a discount for 2 years on shipping!
  21. Some more cool stuff... Behind the scenes with the season finale
  22. That's total garbage. I'm in Canada and it's NEVER 30 days unless I don't go to the post office in a reasonable time. I use the 2nd cheapest shipping with Canada Post (because that one includes a tracking number) and the longest I've seen it take (because I watch every tracking number I send out) is 1.5 weeks. MAX. 30 days. Psh. Screw that guy and his lazy .
