  1. Hey Gabe! Did that guy on facebook ever tell you what Archie's he was looking for? That was a great looking Daredevil!!!! Dan
  2. This attitude of 'poor me, the mean ol' nominator won't come up with a solution and let me off the list.' If I somehow landed on the PL and wanted off, I think my reaction would be 'I screwed up, I own it and I want to make it right. Here's option A, B, C, and D. Nominator, you choose the one that works for YOU. Or a variation of the above. Or something else entirely. I'll do what it takes to make it right.' To me, that shows recognition of the mistake and the sincerity of wanting to make things right. (the above isn't the same as unilaterally deciding what restitution will be - such as making a purchase) If I've landed on the PL, it means I've likely waisted someone's valuable time and caused them aggregation. Why would I just sit back and expect them to waist more of their time and energy trying to devise a method for ME to get off the PL? In my line of work I find myself defending the current 18-35 demographic quite often. It's mostly easy especially when it comes to innovation and creativity. When it comes to accountability, however, I'm consistently at a loss for words. Dan
  3. Only if you "neg" the prettiest girl in the group. This works. Dan
  4. But will this 'method' help a fella pick up women? Dan
  5. That's going on my business cards. Chris Ciara, Esq. Attorney-At-Law Jon Lovitz Stunt Double The Singular, Senstional Champion of Us All! Dan
  6. comix4fun is the one singular, sensational Champion of us all!!! Dan
  7. An excellent ending to a potential train wreck. Good job "manning up" High-grade!!! Dan
  8. Here's a finished prelim from one of the plates of Joe Hill's Lettered Edition of NOS4A2/WRAITH from IDW LIMITED by CPWIII. Charles is the MAN! Dan
  9. Thank you for the heads up on Furthur! They are right ldown the street from my house! Dan
  10. Seriously, if you have the time to post books for sale, find the time to spend the money the buyer sends, you gotta have a minute to ship out the book. This issue comes up too often. Dan
  11. Fast payment and a great conversation! Thank you, Jeremy! Dan
  12. I told you I blame Facebook. Folks get downright personal over there, and I think a few of them wander over here thinking that putting down someone's asking price is all the rage these days. That being said, I wish I could stand in front of Mile High's table with a sign saying, "over priced drek." Dan
  13. Howdy! Two copies of #4 ordered - reg cover and CPWIII!!! I clicked on the signed and doodled for the Charles cover! Thank you so much - really looking forward to the new issue!!! Dan
  14. With sympathies to Gambit, but this whole pending scans thing is really throwing off a clear sale. Sellers ought to put a FC and BC up immediately when selling a 1K book or above. Ugh. It just opens up that whole bookmarking a book instead of outright buying it. Dan
  15. They should give us a button at least then the crapping would be concise. Dan
  16. Most people don't realize there's no express right to privacy in the Constitution. We were a country for well over 100 years before court cases even hinted that there might be a right to be divined through cobbling pieces of the document together, but there's still nothing there that expressly gives us the right to privacy. It wasn't until the mid-60's that the supreme court came up with a way to say that married couples could use contraception in the privacy of their own home. Thank you, as usual, for the history lesson, Chris! I'm always blown away by the things I just accepted as truth for decades. I just recently heard about the addition to the pledge of allegiance in the '50's. Dan
  17. On this we agree! There should be no situation that would demand a buyer or seller disclose a sale. (thumbs u Dan
  18. That would be fun but I don't think the seller is obligated to show anything, unless of course there is a pattern of shady behavior or reaon to doubt them. In that case it's a different matter and in everyone's best interest. At the risk of becoming a nuisance, how does the community set the bar for patterns of 'shady behavior' or 'reasons to doubt?' How do you know when it's appropriate to demandi someone to something in the best interest of everyone? Dan
