More on the Fear #19s: Sold a Fine on eBay in a 3 day auction that ended yesterday for $80, dug out a VG/F copy and listed it as a BIN at $70, and it sold within a few hours.

I had a Swamp Thing 67 VF/NM in a 7 day auction end at $7.55 (only 18 page views). Not bad for a dollar bin find, and certainly paid for the NM+ copy that I bought the same day. Can someone explain to me why the Livewire hype has completely skipped Supes Adv #22? It's her actual second appearance, but it's only a cameo. Is it lack of information (even though all over the web, it's clearly her 2nd app), lack of cover appearance? There are still copies available for a couple of bucks, while everything else seems to go for at least $5-10. :shrug:

Uline has a lot of different sizes, although the thinnest is 2 inches versus the 1.25 inch thickness of the comic mailer. Look at the letterhead size: Uline Kraft Mailers

Wow, and I was happy selling mine (Supes Adv. #4) at $10 and $16. I have another 3 at home that I have to dig out.

I don't think it did. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=6248998 I don't believe it did either, but it does have a total of 3 printings, which you can tell from the variations in the Batman logo.

Seriously. Im curious as to how much taco actually paid for shipping. The cost was not the issue. It was about a buyer asking in advance how a seller packages their books for shipment - being told boxed - and then envelope packaging arrives. So if the seller is undercharging for securely boxing his books, they should address that. Seriously! Typically, how much does it cost, as a minimum, to ship within the US in a box? Shipping costs are weight based. So if a shipment is an envelope or a box, it can go first class mail if the total weight is under 13 ounces.

I bought a huge collection over the weekend that had tons of Copper material, including lots of later printings/reprints. I already pulled a Hulk 377 (3rd), and a few more books that looked like they were reprints that I was unfamiliar with. Pardon the dumb question, but what title is SMF short for? SMF = So Much Fun

Faded, and I could see grading it a VG if the book was otherwise strong. Clearly some buyers won't touch a book like this for any price, but to others, it's just a honking big defect.
