They're all coming back from CGC. Three packages containing 72 books, so it's all Registered Priority Mail, but they've been stuck at one location for nearly 2 weeks now (since 7/23). Last Saturday I called the USPS to follow up, since they hadn't moved in a week, according to the tracking. Then I went to my local post office (where I've had to pick up CGC shipments before, because I wasn't home to sign for them), but they weren't there. I spoke to someone from my post office branch on Thursday who said they hadn't left the facility at which they arrived in my city. She didn't exactly confirm that they had them and they were unharmed though. She bumped the case over to their Consumer Affairs department because of the high insured value of the packages. Waiting to hear back, but it concerns me that I don't have them 2 weeks later.

No one? It's been two weeks since my packages were shipped, and they're still "out for delivery." Kinda sucks to score the first 9.8 on the census of a 20-year old book, but not actually get the book.

She looks like the costume was applied as body paint. Fabric doesn't work with a body like that.

They're checking with the facility where they were last checked in. If my packages are lost, what can I expect if I have to go through the insurance to be reimbursed for the value?

I agree with Valiantman that that's the primary cause for movement. It's why I was willing to pay a premium for it.

Personally I think the Copper Age boundaries should be expanded, with Early Copper including the rise of multiple new Indy companies, and Late Copper including the addition of Indy companies with new superhero lines (Valiant, Image, Ultraverse, Comics Greatest World, Milestone, etc.). The relaunching of some of Marvel's long-running series (ASM, FF, Avengers, etc.) and the end of some of those new universes is a good place for the transition to a new age.

If bad books get the average and good books get more then how is the average the average?

I was excited to find my 72 Moderns shipped last week, but there's been no change since Sunday night, when they were listed at a local facility and en route to the destination.

I'm helping a friend who is no longer interested in the bulk of the 3000 or so comics he accumulated in his youth. Most are late-Silver and Bronze. In general I know what to look for as far as superhero comics go (he has a Batman 227 & 232, now at CGC, Marvel Team-up 1, Marvel Premiere 1, some Wonder Woman keys, and a bunch of Hulks that might include the Wolverine issues, etc.), but a good portion of his collection aren't superhero books. He's got a lot of Harvey, Dell/Gold Key, etc.; books based on cartoons or comics in that vein. Anyone have a list of keys I should watch out for? I have an Overstreet guide, so I can check there, and eBay results, but of course the latter may show low results for potentially valuable books without a huge market. Any help is appreciated.
