I don't  see the prices going up on both keys and moderns a bad thing. it's bad if your the the buyer, not if your the seller.

People saying Mcfarlane is lazy for reusing ASM 300-301 covers. i say it's well played. it's HIS cover art and he isn't biting anybody. as someone else pointed out Marvel has been stealing his old artwork to sell overpriced "remastered" covers, from a page of old Mcfarlane drawn books, that can easily be found in $1 dollar bins everywhere. so good for Todd telling Marvel to Suck it !

Got these bad boys today from Megacon and submitted them in to CGC for grading. 

The building they had the con this year was MUCH BETTER ! easier to get into as well as better access to international drive.  Great work ! 👏

while some of you claim immortal hulk is "underwhelming" i feel that's one of their best titles currently. i'm currently regularly reading Immortal, Amazing spider-man, venom and the superior spider-man series,  that will probably only make it to 25 issues im sure, and the new volume of marvel comics presents. and grabing a mini series here and there from them. i can't say they suck, but they definitely aren't hitting it out the ballpark as of lately.  IMO their right in between sucks and being WOW!

In short, he bought an Uncanny 120 from me for $18 shipped, description of which, in part, contained the following:

I somewhat tersely reminded Mr. buyer of the lengthy sentence I wrote on the topic, response was "well, its coming back regardless".  Ultimately I was going to lose any debate with eBay, because eBay.  So finally I said spoon it here's your money back, send the book back or don't, I don't give an excrement.  Figured why pay return shipping and/or additional blood money to eBay for a book that I just wanted a little beer money for? 

I also wasted a bit of time filling out two of those "Report Buyer" reports, in the second one I made sure to mention that I know eBay doesn't give an excrement about what transpired and I doubt anyone reads these anyway.  

I'll follow-up and award homeboy one integrity point if the book actually does show back up in my mailbox.

Kevin, since megacon is approaching next week, do you have any prices for signatures from mark brooks, inhyuk lee, artgerm, etc for getting books CGC graded? still no info on the webpage as of yet.

I'm another CLZ fan. i use it onmy note 9. it is just so convenient to be able to jump on your phone and to see if you already have a certain issue in your inventory. i added close to 2000 books so far, and it really hasn't let me down as of yet. as far as noting what you paid or the current value or whatever. this DOES NOT show any of that. let me also note i'm not one to pay for for any phone apps. this however, i said screw it and paid the $10 or $15 it cost and have been using it for about a good year and a half now. i personally would give it 5 stars for what it does and how i enjoy it.

Is this thread even relevant any longer? an ebay user can easily change their username once every 30 days if i'm correct. therefore that list that's been here for the past however many years is basically useless.  Don't get me wrong. i have a list of people i WILL NOT sell to for various reasons but still.

the Marvels Annotated # 3 Dell'otto variant is now available for preorder from some sites. i just  ordered one !

I stopped shopping at any LCS  around town after my son was born in 2017. Believe me i tried to hold out as long as possible, but it became a hassle having to drop him off at my folks house for an hour or so just to go pick up my weekly pulls, then rush back to get the baby, go and hustle to get ready for work etc etc.....

a couple other reasons that turned me off from 2 of the shops i used to frequent.

1. opening time was either 10am or 11am and they would come and open anywhere from 30 mins to an hour late or sometimes later even.....

2. the owner at one shop used to act as if he were "godly" and very elitist. he would act as if he were too high and mighty to speak to any of the regulars.

3.quality of some brand new Wednesday releases at one shop would look as if were trampled on and or badly handled frequently.

4.If a certain shop heard via some of these speculation websites that a book is hot. that Wednesday release was already jacked up to $10 dollars a pop

5. Both shops that i used to frequent had one similar problem. it wasn't always but quite a few times they would not have a particular issue, variant, or series in stock. and they would never end up getting them again. which would make me have to order online from somewhere.

All these reasons above were good enough for me to start doing the online comic ordering. it at this point works out more convenient for me, considering my books are delivered right to my home. yea they're a week behind with me receiving them, but so what? i end up getting them all from one vendor and have no problems at all. not to mention i no longer have to buy bags and boards because all the modern titles come with them.

 There's a new dell'otto variant coming out next week for Marvel's new large event war of the realms. it's a Thor cover that looks similar to the igstore thor variant.

Kevin, any idea what artgerm and inhyuk will be charging for their signatures when getting CGC? 

i've been liking quite a few of his new covers that have been coming out, but the pricetags on some of these have been turn off. i don't mind spending $40ish for a virgin or set but when they start hitting $60 and up.... i hold back.

don't get me wrong, last year they had a killer lineup. i spent an entire day there and i dumped a ton of money getting books signed and submitted to CGC. this year with so far more celebrities than writers/artists. i've honestly only saw one comic guest that i would want a signature from. the rest are a few older celebs. i'm hoping they come out with another wave of comic guests soon to have me feel like getting a ticket for the event is worthwhile.

I have to be honest Kevin, And this is by no means a dig at you or anything like that, but I've been kind of underwhelmed so far with the comic writers/guests thus far.

Usually we see heavy hitters attending megacon. This year doesn't seem like previous ones.

Anyone picking up the Grimm Knight Dell'otto foil cover? i already grabbed a regular one, i'm mighty tempted at getting that foil though too....

saw an email today just voice actors announced ? i thought more artists and creators today.

never attended comic con revolution, but i am considering it this weekend. as far as how much everyone charges, you should continue to check the site for prices. if not be prepared for anywhere from free all the way up to $25 -$30 per signature. that's what they all charge nowadays when you get books graded by CGC or any of other companies.

immortal Hulk has been a breath of fresh air. it's one of my favorite Marvel titles currently, and i was glad when this came out and replace " totally awesome"..... we got our Original hulk back !

Just to wake this thread up abit. What I've gotten as of last year. Was considering slabbing them. Definitely will slab the red ashcan when I get some extra funds.
