Last one for now.
5 copies total in Census. Annoyingly, there's two listings: one under "Large Feature Comic" and one under "Large Feature Comics"
As a collector of Gerber White Space books, this one eluded me for a long time. I do need an upgrade - not a fan of Brittle Pages.

Sold these two to World's Finest Comics AGES ago and regretted selling them ever since.
Happy to have these two back after 20 odd years! Annoyed that someone in the chain monkeyed with them (most likely Mark Wilson?)
5 Universal plus this one:
4 Universal plus 3 PLODs - highest 8.5

Here's the twin that I picked up in the same auction.
I was living in London at the time and was bidding frantically in the middle of the night.
Great memories!!
I missed out on a lot of great items! A few of which I tracked down later though.
I would *LOVE* to track down more of the paintings and cover proofs I lost out on. hint hint

@rtsunlimited That is beautiful! What's the story behind it?
I bought the painting at the L.B. Cole Estate sale a few years back (along with a TON of other stuff - wish I had bought more!).
I think the image was likely used for the cover to a paperback novel in the early '60s.
Not sure though.

Happy Holidays everyone!
I still have some sets available!
I have a few extra sets of Photo-Journals - All NEW, Unread and still in original Shrink Wrap!
Prices below:
Golden Age Set (Vol 1 & 2): $115
Marvel Set (Vol 3 & 4): $50
All four volumes: $160
All books are new and unread. There might be some minor bumps and wear. The dust jackets on the Marvel sets have some wrinkling from where the clear plastic coating is delaminating though. However, I will send the best volumes I have!
Full refund within 14 days after delivery if you're not satisfied.
S/H in the lower 48 States: $9 for the first volume and $4 each additional one
PayPal, Check, M.O. and Credit Cards O.K.
Ships from Colorado via FedEx Ground so, no P.O. Boxes please.
Thanks!

Just out of curiosity, why are some of the entries in the Guides bolded?
Already got my GA set from elsewhere...
I'm not exactly sure but, it looks to me like every 10th issue is bolded just to make it easier to find a specific issue number. Doesn't look like this is consistent across every title though.
Cheers, Tim C.

Yes, long running here! But here is a question. Hasn't Gerber updated their volumes since then? I had my sets and if I remembered right, there were a few missing books not found yet to be listed?
Had been wondering about that.
It is my understanding that there was a price update sheet or two shortly after the Golden Age set came out. I also heard that he completed most (all?) the work for a D.C. set but the books weren't a financial success so those never got published. I think there was a calendar or two published also. Unfortunately, Ernie Gerber passed away some time ago (early 2000's?). I'm not aware of any updated printings. I do know that Comicbook Marketplace had stickers for at least some of the "missing books" - a.k.a. "Gerber White Space" books. Anyway, these 4 volumes have helped me immensely in my collecting and so, I bought a bunch to help others.
Cheers,
Tim C.

BTW, I happily ship to Canada via USPS M-Bag.
Unfortunately, as the books are heavy, it's not cheap.
However, I will hep defray some of the cost:
GA set to Canada is $58 but I'll pay $14 of that leaving S/H of $44.00
Marvel set to Canada is $46 but I'll pay $8 of that leaving S/H of $38.00
All 4 volumes to Canada is $88 but I'll pay $22 of that leaving S/H of $66.00
If anyone knows of a cheaper method to Canada, PLEASE let me know!
