  1. Not to be a debbie downer, but if he had his own books to sell it sounds like he would have done that a long time ago. Hopefully I'm wrong.
  2. I know it doesn't help anyone get their money or books back, but the thought of him sitting in jail is nice.
  3. I'm working on something a little extra to add to the mystery box this year.
  4. Full disclaimer. That guess came from my kids. And they make many questionable choices.
  5. I've been running complex math calculations for days now. Should be finished by Christmas. I'll have it down to the penny.
  6. @The Sledder Just put me down for a Frazetta/Magazine mystery box. I may or may not share some details.
  7. It certainly wouldn't be shocking if he sold customer's books. He is outright stealing money at this point so why not?
  8. Not to be that guy, but why didn't they catch these in QC? Shouldn't they have been "on the lookout" from the beginning?
  9. Makes you wonder if they just packed up the same books without doing anything.
  10. Dam. I must have missed it. Don't see it for that price now.
  11. You shouldn't feel horrible. Your heart was in the right place no matter what the outcome.
  12. Clearly the answer is a lack of posting about Frazetta. That would fix everything. My prized possession.
  13. Question. I always assumed the specific sections (Golden Age, Magazines, etc.) had way more in depth discussion and much less "banter". But I only hang out in the magazine section other than general. Is my understanding generally true?
  14. Good lord. How many of your posts do I comment on? But when I see blatant hypocrisy I tend to call it out. Of course you are a victim here. That fits your MO.
  15. You miss the nuance. What you posted won't help anyone here. Its too late. Who are you giving advice to? The people that have already lost money and books?
  16. You seemed to focus very much on Americans in your post, so that is where my question was coming from. I'm curious if you think other countries outside the US know how it works in China and if you think that impacted how they use it.
  17. In the way you are talking about it after the fact, yes.
  18. So how is it used in other countries? Closer to the US or China?
