Sure, knowing more about the world is great. Knowing how a social media platform operates in China? To each his own I guess. To think that is sad seems really odd to me. And to think if people did knew how it was used in China would influence how it is used elsewhere seems like a major stretch to me.

How many Americans do you think know this? Almost none. It's really sad. You know where I found out about this? On the #1 podcast in the world, which is a banned topic here because someone here convinced moderation that the podcast "spreads misinformation". How many people (Americans or otherwise) would even care? Why is it sad that people don't know how tiktok operates in China?

Would it just be easier to offer 50% off instead of BOGO? In the two $50 book scenario you would still pay $50 and get two books. Seems like it would be easier to manage for everyone.

Depends on how many books and how much they are. If you have two $50 books, two $40 books, two $30 dollar books and two $3 books you would certainly need more than two trips.

So if someone walks up with ten $50 books and ten $3 books people think the right answer is to make the guy get in line 6 times? Edit: So my numbers of trips is not right, but you get the idea.

Oh man. Terrible news. I met Bird when he picked my raffle prize a few years back. Since we are both in NJ we decided to meet up at a local show instead of shipping the prize out. Had a great time talking with him and sharing comic book stories. When I saw this thread my heart sank and was hoping it was not this.

A few comments. And it might seem harsh. Mental Health is not some kind of get out of jail free card from the HOS. It should have no bearing whatsoever on removal. Person A and person B so very similar things to get put on the HOS. Do we remove person A on because it would improve their mental health, but not remove person B because they are fine mentally? Apart from that I don't think anyone should ever be removed from the HOS. No matter what changes they have made that doesn't erase what they have done in the past. And as many have pointed out, its not like they can't post here. So what is really the punishment? Buying and selling? They can do that in a thousand other places. Heck, I'm sure through private messages they could still do that here. Lastly, I would think the road to "redemption" on this forum would entail being an active helpful poster. Being a good member of the community.

But it is something to think about. What happens in that case? How can people try and get their books returned to them?
