    Not speaking about the current situation of the item being pulled from ebay as it has been fully explained, but certainly there is a difference between a seller pulling a book that was either a BIN or an auction with no bids vs. one that has had bids. At least to me.

    The problem is that Ebay used to let you write whatever you wanted so you could explain. Now I believe they only let you chose from 3 canned responses. Certainly not ideal. Does the seller know the identity to be able to send a separate message?

    I think the shipping should have been refunded as well. And I could see the responses as being a bit dismissive if the buyer is unhappy to start with.

    Sold for $4,000. Probably another missed opportunity on my part I will end up regretting.
