They don't really seem similar to me. I mean sure, they both have Vampirella on the cover. But that's about it.

I know that this was almost a complete swipe, but can't recall the other book it came from. EDIT: Found it.

I assume you realize the concern here with a book graded a 5.0.

You would think they should be embarrassed, but I highly doubt it. @CGC Mike What is the rule on grader notes? I can see not having them maybe for a 9.8 or 9.6, but how in the heck does a 5.0 not have grader notes?

And what is the alternative? To have a mislabeled book that they are the experts at labeling?

Certainly they don't just put down whatever you mark on the submission form. You can see where this could certainly be a problem.

And while it is great to say you are keeping the label that will only get you so far if you want to sell the book.

It seems like of all the reasons someone might remove a book from a slab this is the worst.

Seems odd to focus the title on a damaged package when there was no damage to the slabs. Kind of seems like click bait.

I figured that wouldn't last long.

Probably; I suspect a large number of Vampirella fans have never seen an issue of the Warren run. I can't imagine any fans of the magazine not being an Enric fan, however. Now I would have thought the opposite and assume most Vampirella fans know know about the Warren run.

I'm curious exactly how it was mentioned in the listing. Was it in the description or buried somewhere? And was it a buy it now or auction?

You need to hang out with different people.

Of course it will happen. And people have been scammed before. You can't eliminate it. So let's say they fall for one of these scams. As long as they pay with paypal goods and services they have protection. If they don't its a good lesson to learn.

Looks like IKEA floating shelves. That's what I use in my comic room.
