  1. I would think it still had to go through him. That was the account that submitted them.
  2. Funny story. Just had a package show up at the front door. It looks really similar to the gift exchange package I sent out yesterday. My wife does all my packing slips because she ships stuff for her home business. She swapped the return address with the mailing address. She shipped it to...............our house.
  3. Never fear. Could be a Christmas miracle next year.
  4. That is terrible. I can't believe you have to go through submitting them again to get fixed.
  5. We need an "every books goes through quality control" emoji.
  6. Magazine economy? And is that date "delivered" or marked as received?
  7. We usually link the reveal thread so if you can find this one you have found the other one.
  8. That sounds like a couple of hours on the phone with ebay to maybe get this resolved if it goes wrong. What is the estimate for having the buyer fix his mistake? 2 minutes?
  9. I did say we willingly sign up for. It still is completely illogical and makes no sense. Why would the TAT that is listed today be the TAT that books received 7 months ago would be held to?
  10. Its like some kind of scam we all willingly sign up for. If I remember correctly TAT was around 140 days when I submitted. It is now 219 days. Other than CGC there isn't a human alive that would think this was a reasonable approach.
  11. I'm sure this has been discussed, but can't remember the answer. If you were to call CGC and ask about your submission would they only refer to current TATs when discussing your submission or would they recognize what they were when you sent them in?
  12. There seems to be almost zero upside in going with any option other than cancelling and having them change their address. Sure it might work out. Sure ebay might side with you. Sure it might only take a 3 minute call with ebay to get it settled. But then again it might not. Versus the few minutes it would take to go with option 1.
  13. People also have the experience of dealing with complete incompetency when calling ebay for help. It might take you hours dealing with this on the phone with them if it turns bad. It takes a minute to tell them to fix their address and relist.
  14. I never collected magazines as a kid. Pretty much just collected Conan comics with a few others mixed in. On one hand I wish I had collected magazines, but then I realize it doesn't matter. My mother sold all of my comics at a garage sale one day because she didn't think I wanted them. I'm still in therapy.
