  1. Went to a horror convention last weekend. Plenty of magazines to be had. But the pick of the show for me was this. I probably passed this guy's table 20 times before I noticed this.
  2. Horror Tales v2.1 January, 1970 F/VF $30 Tales of Voodoo v3.1 January 1970 F+ owing to small chip out, lower right corner front cover $28 Take both if still available.
  3. Considering the closest thing we have gotten to an official response has been "Every book that leaves our office does go through quality control" that isn't exactly encouraging.
  4. Yes, but not BECAUSE of this thread I think they care that subs are coming back. Not sure how they couldn't. It is costing them money I probably should have been more clear. Other than the monetary losses that returns cause.
  5. Serious question. Does anyone think CGC cares in the slightest about a single issue raised in this thread?
  6. I eagerly await getting the guy with a golden age collection worth more than my house. Wouldn't want to break my streak.
  7. You were screwed if you had a booth at the one end. They were all dark. One guy handed me a flashlight to take a better look. And as usual, trying to figure out actual booth numbers was agonizing.
  8. Forgot to show this one off. Got this directly from the source in Baltimore. I've met him before and he is always happy to have a chat.
  9. Interesting tidbit from my trip to Baltimore this weekend. I saw exactly one Vampirella 1. I was pretty shocked. I figured there would be at least several copies.
  10. WE HAVE MOVEMENT!!!!! Finally hit GEI with my magazine economy submission that was received on 5/12/01 (delivered 4/8).
  11. Picked up a few things at Baltimore Comic Con this weekend.
  12. I was curious on the dates. Does any other major show shift this much?
  13. That sucks on the dates. Why do they get later every single year? Your carpet was a nice break on the feet by the way.
  14. Great show. Was happy to chat a bit with @shortboxed @Murphman13 and @FlyingDonut. I was there early on Saturday. Walked in the convention center at 9am and we got our covid bracelets and entry bracelets immediately. I was a bit shocked there weren't more people. Definitely felt like a lighter crowd. We left about 3:30. And holy carp. The line to get covid bracelet was so far down the street i couldn't even see the end. I have no idea how long that would have taken. I felt like this was a higer % of comics than in the past. Toys and statues definitely seemed to be down because they are something I'm always looking at. It was in a different space than before so that might skew my thinking as well.

  17. Can't wait. We will be there bright and early tomorrow.
  18. I like to imagine CGC has a team of people that are responsible for coming up with terrible ideas. Somehow that seems better to me there pure incompetence. .
  19. i need to update some of my lists. I've been slacking.
